Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
Hi,
I originally started creating my store in osCommerce but decided to switch over to ZenCart for the added features. I'm pretty good with design but have no clue about PHP. So here is my question..
In osCommerce, I used niftycorners for my tabs. They aren't image dependent and I like the way they work/look. See old site nave tabs on top - http://texasjackrussells.com/catalog/#
I would like to do something similar to your template with the maroon banner but instead of a solid banner, I would use the same color scheme I used for my old site.
In osCommerce site, I used div tags to wrap around the links. I don't know where to put the div tags to change out the look for the links in your template.
Here is a link to my store in ZenCart http://texasjackrussells.com/shop

One last item. I would like to be able to put a banner that is about 515x202 just under that maroon links section where it greats guests. I keep trying to add an image link to define_main_page.php but it wont take. Or, better yet, is there a way I can define that area as a banner so I can maintain it via admin? I would like to be able to change it out for promos in my store.
by the way, I'm in Texas as well and I would love to attend a seminar if you ever decide to give one on ZenCart.

yes you can maintain the banner via admin.
Go to tools/banner manager, enter the banner title and banner group, upload the image.
Then go to Configuration/Layout settings
You will find:
Banner Display Groups - Header Position 1
Banner Display Groups - Header Position 2
Banner Display Groups - Header Position 3
Enter the name of the banner group in one of the three positions (i cant remember which one of them it was exactly, just try it out)
Hope this helps.

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
Ok, I got the banner sorted out. Now I can't figure out why the categories is not align to the top.
Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
sucess!!!!
Now I just got to figure out the tabs and than I'm all set for products!!!
Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
Kruna, that is perfect! Do you know how I could get the text in the sideboxes to change color as well? Also, next to each link in the categories sidebox is a small flame ( the I-Choze logo). How do I replace this?
Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
I am glad it worked out...

this would be the boxlistbg.png to replace, just tell me how would you like to have it and if I can do, IŽll do...if you simply like tohave a sign like >, you would do that in admin.
give me a sec to help with font color...

Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
How do you like to have your fonts and where?
Re: Acadame - Another Professional Template
I would like the fonts to be this color: #0D6826 and preferably bolded. For the font type, I am not too picky; Whatever looks good :) .
