Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
you need to be logged on to see the shopping cart...
Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
Hi!
Firstly, like to acknowledge the commitment Jade has made to this thread and the template. Insane dude!
I hope to save him some time and maybe someone else can point me in the direction of solving this issue. I cannot for the life of me figure out what I did to shift the horizontal dropdown menu down. I think I may know what the issue is, but in which file I'm not too sure. I have reinstalled the theme and the problem was still there, so I think it might be a conflict between original zencart files and the apple zen files. I have attached an image so there is a clearer picture of what I mean:

And our website: http://www.pinin.com.au
Also, does anyone else have a formatting issue with the template? For some reason, paragraphing does not work properly with my product descriptions.
If anyone can point me in the direction of which files I should be altering, that would be a great start!

Any ideas?

You need to be logged in and have placed some items in your shopping cart before it appears. If customers are logged in and browsing, I don't think the shopping cart sidebox pops up until they ACTUALLY start shopping and put things in their cart.
If it still doesn't, you should doublecheck in your admin that the configurations you've put in place are correct.
If that fails, I think you should reinstall the sidebox files. Backup everything obviously!

Have you tried the debugger thing for Zencart? I think that would be a great start if you think one file is screwing up everything else. Just follow the instructions, and if one of the files is corrupt and therefore has bad coding, the log files will pick it up and you can change whatever it is that needs to be changed.

Could I see a link? It sounds like you might not have uploaded all of the files. Check, double check, triple check, etc., that each file has ended up in the right place. Is only half of the drop down menu present as well? That means you haven't uploaded all of the files in the correct spots.

Thanks in advance.

It's the margin:0 auto's in the stylesheet that are forcing the centering. Find this section:
/*wrappers - page or section containers*/
and start removing margin:0 auto's there.
You'll also need to remove it from #contentMainWrapper, and others. You don't want to remove all of them, just for the outer most divs for the section you are wanting to change. View the source of your site to get an idea of which div's you'll need to remove the margin:0 auto from.

You'll also need to open up includes/templates/apple_zen/css/stylesheet_header_menu.css to change the colors in the drop down menu.
Hello: I've been searching this thread for 3 weeks. Is there a way to change to color schemes other than the ones included with this template or is there a way to change the color of the black horizontal menu bar only? Thanks

Of course, you can change to any color you like by using the stylesheet, or opening up the images in the includes/templates/apple_zen/images/ folder in an image editing program and change the colors.

Thank you for the reply. I did find how to change the site colors. The only problem I'm having is changing the Menu bar from black to another color. I did manage to change the drop down color but I don't care for the black main catagories menu bar. Can you give me the location for that one? If I'm not being clear, here's a link to my site. www.coutiva.com
Thanks
