ACTUALLY - One thing that might want to check before you make that phone call is whether or not GD Support is enabled. The GD Libraries are what is frequently used by Image Handler to do the image resizing. You can read about it here: http://us3.php.net/gd

You can check this by logging into your admin, and on the top right click on "Version" and do a quick text search for "GD"

If it has been disabled for some reason, this *might* be causing the problem.

If it is enabled, maybe you could ask your host if there were any changes made in the past day or so to the GD Library.

No i didnt do anything, except try to load a new product, and yes the GD is enabled. So i should ask dreamhost if they made any changes to their PHP configurationn ? As you call tell this is all kinda out of my league :-(

Have you used the Thread Tools button at the top to search this whole thread for people with additional image issues? There have been a number of other people with this problem and things you can try to troubleshoot this.

It's worth the phone call because stuff like that happens. If they swear that they haven't made any changes, at least you can eliminate that from the list of possible causes.

If you have no answers there try re-uploading all the IH2 files again, and triple check the image files you are using - Make sure they are 100% solid jpg files and check to see that they have the correct file permissions, set to 755.

And if none of that works, you can always back up and re-apply IH2 from scratch.

Maybe someone else has some input on your errors...?

Thanks so much for your replies. Ive got dreamhost looking into it, and Ive already tried reloading the IH2 files once already with no luck.

Does Image Handler work with the Opera Web Browser as the images on my site ( www.darkrealmfox.com ) don't seem to show larger images when you hover over them using the Opera browser but work with other browsers.

Hi All

I have installed image handler2 & looks to be installed ok, but the problem is that when the pop up pic that is produced when you hoover over the original one is only a little bit bigger, how do I make the new popup image bigger?

:smile:It was this below to alter the hover image size

Product Info pages use (IH) Medium size images so...
Configuration --> Images --> Product Info--Image Width
And
Configuration --> Images --> Product Info--Image Height
You can set either width/height with a "0" which will allow the image to scale proportional.
