Hi everybody!
I've successfully installed WOZ on localhost last night and I love it!
Since my website will be multilingual (French and English). I tried different language switch plugins but I really don't like how they behave so I'll be using 2 Wordpress installations.
I am now wondering how I could connect those two blogs on my multilingual cart. I am not a programmer but I came with the idea to replace the value of ABSPATH found in wordpress-config.php with a constant like BLOG_PATH and add a define in my language file so that when a user switch languages in Zen-Cart, the blog would update accordingly.
I tried using this new constant define in my main language file as well as in the provided language file in the mod with no success.
I'm pretty sure I'm close to a solution but can't get it to work that way. Anyone could provide me with tips? I surely must not be the only one who could benefit from such a tweak in the mod!
Thanks all!
Hi,
Unfortunately I'm still trying to get this to work. I put the path in wordpress-config to page 4 of Zen Cart, but nothing. I'm having major issues of trying to figure out how to get wordpress to show and where the paths should be etc. Please help!
Not enough info..i.e.
url of your site?
which directory/folder did you install wordpress?
which directory folder did you install wordpress mod?
did you use seperate database/different database to zencart?
Without all info above, not possible to helpQuote:
path in wordpress-config to page 4 of Zen Cart
Hi sorry my url is www.beautyxpress.com.au/store
I installed wordpress in my zen cart directory i.e. store
I installed the mod into all of the folders it told me to and my database is in my zencart database.
It seems that everyone else is pass this step but I can't seem to get it. I've put a lot of other mods on my site without any hassles but this one I'm really struggling with.
I hope that is enough information, if you need anymore just give me a yell. Thanks.
If you have installed correctly, as per your
last post, then the following url would work correctly.
i.e.
http://beautyxpress.com.au/store/wp-admin/
it does not..
In wordpress admin, under options,
word press addresses would be
[WordPress admin URL] › Options › General
[Blog address (URL)] change to [Zen-Cart URL].
i.e.
http://beautyxpress.com.au/store
Wordpress config file should also be checked
regarding correct paths...
I can't figure out what file this code is coming from at the bottom of the page:
<div id="footer">
<a href="<A href="http://www.s-page.net/products/62.html">WordPress">http://www.s-page.net/products/62.html">WordPress On ZenCart</a>©<a href="<A href="http://www.s-page.net/">S-page</a">http://www.s-page.net/">S-page</a>
</div>
I need to change or remove it, it's messing up my layout, as you can see here: http://tehome.net/shop/index.php?main_page=wordpress
I want to switch to a different div for the blog sideboxes. Right now, it is using the .leftBoxContainer. I have searched and searched and can't figure out which file houses the code which tells the blog sideboxes what div to use. help?:frusty:
