Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)
My shipping is messed up.
The shipping is charging about half of what the actual is.
What are the settings for correcting this?
I have noticed that this happens when someone uses Google Checkout and GC is not returning them back to my site. I have run through the sequence and there is a link after paying to return but, Zen doesn't create an order.
I do have 0-rings on my site for $0.50 ORG03 if you'd like to pretend to buy something.
Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)

We encountered an error trying to access your server at https://www.gooeee.com/googlecheckou...nsehandler.php -- the error we got is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
now my certificate is from godaddy and is on the list of valid certificates I just don't understand the error message, anyone?

Ok after a couple of months I got this error figured out, it was the Go Daddy certificate it required special handling though it worked for my page it had no path back to the root that required an intermediate bundle to be installed something other certificate don't require.
But google check had been working it just did not notify me and was not inter graded but now I get this new error anyone want to try this one; you get this error after trying to place an order, it will not let you place it.

Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)
When I set up google checkout in our store it seems you need to click
"Continue with google checkout" in step 3. in other words, you confirm
your shopping cart, go to step 2, where you confirm your shipping method,
then click google checkout, then you continue to step 3 where you click
confirm the order. weirdly enough, this doesnt confirm the order. it just
displays your cart (again). only this time you have a little button that
says - or use - then below that it has the google checkout button.
if this is how it was intended, my opinion is thats a very inefficient and
confusing process. I am not sure if this is entirely valid as I have not
had time to set it up multiple places.
the paypal module I use is much cleaner, lettign me just select a radio
button and then click continue to checkout, then a paypal checkout page
comes up. I would like it alot more like that.
hope someone can help me fix it.
Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)
I'm getting this error
We encountered an error trying to access your server at https://www.rothsound.com/googlechec...nsehandler.php -- the error we got is: Send failed with code: 400. Response body was: Invalid or not supported Message
I searched and found others with the same problem but no resolution. Obviously something is wrong with the response handler, but I don' know what it is.
I'm hosted on Godaddy and wonder if that might have something to do with it, since that always seems to be my issue when something isn't working!
Thanks for any ideas.
Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)
Oh, that error appears inside of google checkout under the integration console. The order appears in GC fine, but ZC has no clue the order exists, and neither do I unless I check the GC page.
Re: Google Checkout module for Zen Cart (beta)
I posted this question on the Google groups official support area with zero response, so I am now posting it here since someone here has to know the answer.

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.8a and GC module 1.4.7. In Zen Cart I use Zone
Rates for the shipping. Shipping is $3.95 in the United States ($.75
for each additional item) and $7.95 for International ($1.50 for each
additional item). I have tried to get it to work, but in Google
Checkout it charges $0 for shipping. Is there someone who would know
the code I need to get this to work correctly and where to put it?

Your customers should be able to go directly to Google fom their filled cart without selecting a shipping method.
Do you have a full-color Google Checkout button on your login page and on your shopping cart page when you have items in your cart? If you don't, you may not have your template files installed correctly. For more info on templates go to this thread:

I think you misunderstand what i mean.
actually my GCO is work on the zencart.
now.
If the customer click the Google Checkout button in shoppingcart page, they will be redirected to the Google site with shipping price.
If they select the regular checkout, they have missed the opportunity to use GCO.
I wanna the Gco in the regaular payment choose, just seems paypal IPN
