Hello,
I am a new user to the Zen-Cart software and SBA. I am having some difficulties setting up my SBA Alpha on a ZenCart 1.51 and having it display some needed information.
What I have is a store that I am trying to sell vacations and other items on. I have the SBA setup correctly (it seems) but what I am trying to do is have it display the quantity available for each attribute next to the option.

The page I am working on is...
Discover SCUBA Diving
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is a "feature" or I have something wrong somewhere :-S
My SBA is working a treat for products with attributes (eg. it warns people if they add more than the available items to their cart).
However, I notice that products without attributes behave differently:
1) It will allow the customer to add in excess of the available quantity of a product to the cart without warnings.
2) Customers can not progress from shopping cart to checkout if they have any products with quantities that exceed the available (as above). Clicking on Checkout returns them to the shopping cart without any message.
Note: Of course if I set Allow Checkout = True it allows the customer to Checkout.
Am I doing something wrong? Does SBA on work correct when _all_ products have attributes?
Regards,
Troy.
We have mostly non-attribute items up to about 1200 total. About thirty of those have attributes. We have RoboPhungs version installed and are still working on a sync quantities issue; However, everything else seems to be working very well in 1.5.1.Quote:

The sync issue for us is currently being solved by just pushing the "sync all quantities" link every day on the Config > SBA page, other wise, customers can check out without the help of a warning, only if the number of product with the chosen attribute is less than the total quantity of the product. Some weirdness that RoboPhung is working on and may just be some install issue on our end.
Check your install, (as if you haven't...but check it again anyways). Also, because single drop down does not work, check that under Config > Stock you are using:
Quote:
Check stock level true
Product Info Single Attribute - multiple_dropdowns
Product Info Multiple Attribute - sequenced_dropdowns
Hi Athena,
Thanks for the advice, I've just uninstalled "stock by attributes" and installed RoboPhungs version which seems to be working perfectly.
Troy.
Actually...I forgot to mention, when I uninstall "stock by attributes" and installed creinold_SBA5.1_alpha_version1.5_for_zencart_V1.5.0 I got an error with this SQL statement:
INSERT INTO `configuration` VALUES (1295, 'Disable drop down menu when stock equals zero', 'sba_zero_disable ', 'true', 'Set drop down menu to automatically disable when the attribute quantity equals zero:', 9, 6, '2010-07-25 15:29:27', '2010-07-25 14:44:56', NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(''true'', ''false''),');
The error:
#1062 - Duplicate entry '1295' for key 'PRIMARY'
Looking at my database I can see this entry:
(1295, '<hr>Icons type', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_OZPOST_ICONS', 'jpg', 'Different icon types for different needs. What''s yours?', 6, 35, NULL, '2013-03-03 15:01:17', NULL, 'ozpost::ozp_cfg_select_option(array(''none'', ''jpg'', ''png'', ''gif''), ');
Does the key 1295 matter? Is it directly referenced?
Troy.
JS Web has apparently taken over the care and feeding of all of Ceon's (by the late Conor Kerr) modules including the much anticipated commercial Ceon module called Product Variants module Conor was working on up until his untimely passing. Keep an eye on the JS Web website for the official release. In the meantime to learn more about the Ceon Product Variants module you can check this link out: http://ceon.net/software/business/ze...oduct-variants
Hi,
is there already a fix to show stock amount on items with variables?
ie.
Item 1:
In stock 16
Select:
White (4 in stock)
Red (5 in stock)
Green (7 in stock)
