Ceon URI Mapping (SEO)

My simple mind thinking use same ID for many products can create more chance for search hits.

First of all thanks for this wonderful module!!

Now i've a question:
i'm using italian and english localization, all products and more information pages work fine but for example, the "main_page" url for reviews are not localized but only in italian

my situation example
IT -> shop.com/test-categoria/articolo-di-test/scrivi-una-recensione [this is ok]
EN -> shop.com/test-category/test-article/scrivi-una-recensione [this is not ok, muste be "shop.com/test-category/test-article/write-review"]

IT -> shop.com/test-categoria/articolo-di-test/dillo-ad-un-amico [this is ok]
EN -> shop.com/test-category/test-article/dillo-ad-un-amico [this is not ok, muste be "shop.com/test-category/test-article/tell-a-friend"]

I've edited "ceon_uri_mapping.php" in /admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/ and /admin/includes/languages/italian/extra-definitions/ but i've seen in mysql table that in "uri" field all the uris are created only with IT localization "dillo-ad-un-amico" and "scrivi-una-recensione".

I hope there's a solution for this issue.

Glad you like the software.

You are right, only the first define is used for all the languages.. In version 4 I'll make sure that each language's define has a different name so that each language can correctly use its own text for the write-a-review, tell-a-friend part of the URI.

In the meantime all you can really do is to manually change the URIs in the database. I'd suggest running an SQL search and replace to match the language ID and the page type and to replace the "scrivi-una-recensione" text with "write-review".

I'm aware that may not be easy, but at least it would be a good lesson in SQL (not much consolation I know).

I do not know if it's because I need two different sitemaps localized or because i'm too meticulous in my work :P

however is there an eta for the v4?

I don't know why no-one else didn't notice.. I'm surprised that this wasn't noticed before.. I thought the module have zero bugs left, but there's obviously still this one.

:laugh::laugh: Working on it, but new job, two serious injuries (shoulder and foot), PT for said injuries, a BFF who fell suddenly and SERIOUSLY ill, fostering two abandoned cats, feeding husband, pets and myself and managing three side projects makes it a little difficult... :laugh::laugh: Yeah I'm working on adding 8 hours to my day to make it happen..
