Admin-Editable Sidebox - Support Thread

No acctually I didn't... I was looking for something the other day like that and put a post out and someone suggested admin editable sitdebox as the solution....

You have too many closing divs at the end of the code you have inserted into the box. This is messing up the structure of that left column, which is probably why you're having problems wrestling it into submission.

apologies if someone ask about it but I couldn't find that.
I have editable sidebox - "Payment Methods". I inserted PayPal logo few months ago using HTML editor and it worked fine. But now, no matter what image I want to insert, all content shows as lines of code. I managed to do it directly through includes/languages/english/html_include/ editable... but I wonder what could be the reason why I cannot handle it with Editor HTML? Even when I try to insert exactly the same logo through HTML Area or this logo's code through Plain Text it is code every time. If it matters: I am using 139g

I would like to know if this addon can be used to create a sidebox for the addon Cross Sell - Just Another Cross Sell Mod?

I've made 5 other 'Editable Sideboxes' using this great mod and got the idea the other day when I was reviewing my product info page and thought the 'Cross Sell' mod would be better in a sidebox vs the center column area.

If anyone has done this, please share how you did it.

I have read almost all the threads for this mod and no one seems to have the issue I am having- Zen Cart 1.3.8a, PHP version 5.2.9 - was configured initially by host - am trying to add "editable sidebox mod" to use for specially selected items that I can link to a category (that will not be displayed in regular category sidebox) want to change items frequently but not be bothered with dates to make them appear -etc. Have installed "editable sidebox" mod and cannot fix error - here is what is shown on my main page with sidebox on - right side:

"Warning: file_get_contents(includes/languages/english/html_includes/Spotlight.php) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in public_html/includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_editable_sidebox.php on line 16

NOTE: there is no Spotlight.php anymore - seems that line 16: $content .=file_get_contents(define_sidebox); is not adding the editor into the sidebox. Also, I successfully installed "blank sidebox" mod but discovered this "editable" mod and changed all files but cannot get it to "run" correctly. Please help - how do I fix this - my site is not "up and running" yet. Thanks in advance

Using ZC1.3.9f, download went fine and can see the editable sidebox in my admin/layout boxes controller. Have it placed in the left coloumn which is 200px wide. However if I turn the box on my center box and my right sideboxes disappear? Also the box is not appearing in my tools/define pages? I did rename to sellers_ or _sellers and pretty sure I was consistent, what else could I be doing wrong? Thanks Shane

I wonder if you can help me and my apologies if this was answered before.
I installed the editable-sidebox in order to create some links for blog/facebook/twitter that would match the look of the other sideboxes. Everything worked fine, except the fact that the sidebox is pushed in about 4-5pixels and it is not aligned with the rest of the boxes. Would you have any ideas on how i can correct that?
