AutoFacebook [Support]

The version of Zen Cart is v1.3.9g
Server OS: Linux 2.6.18-194.17.1.el5xen
PHP Version: 5.2.12 (Zend: 2.2.0)

I have installed the Autofacebook, problem; when I run the facebook_authorization.php and it does not return the page's ID and Page's Token needed for update_product.php or it returns the following:
$page_id = ". $pagetoken = $accounts['data'][0]['id'] ."
$page_token = ". $accounts['data'][0]['access_token']."

I have just created the facebook account with Sell Buy Share, not sure what I have done wrong?

I have installed and used for about 4 weeks autofacebook lite (more robust version :cool:) but in the last 2 weeks new store items aren't getting posted anymore. I have not changed my page settings, is there any kind of monthly limit amount of updates?

I have installed and try autofacebook 2.0: same problem.

Anybodyelse with these problems?

Ok i have found!
No amount limits
I have reinstalled autofacebook 2.0 and set just one facebook fan page. it's working.

There 's no need to choose "facebook's user or pages installation" during app's creation, cause fb have deleted this option.

Now iam trying to set up Autofacebook lite!

I dont know if it can be useful, but
I had same problem, and i was wrong.

In facebook_authorization.php i had to set

$app_location = "http://www.site.com/facebook_authorization.php"

and put file "facebook_authorization.php" on my root directory.

in the standard facebook/facebook_authorization.php form it won't work

Does it work if I use the easypopulate to import products massively?

Well I've wasted a lot of hours trying to get this to work and I'm not very chuffed :cry:

The consensus of opinion after reading through the thread seems to be that the mod no longer works, or does anyone have a solution to the problem?

I recently installed this mod.

It works......

But it only sends to FB the newly created products that are actually created from a blank "new product" form. When we create a new product by copying a current product and then change info to make the new product then these new products don't show on FB. Not really good because we almost always create new products from old product pages.

Any solution to this?

Ah... that explains it! I've been doing the same thing and creating all my new products by copying from a premade product template.

Hi - I have installed the auto facebook and it works fine BUT like others I would be really interested to know if (or when) you have a mod which auto posts on Facebook when you UPDATE a product instead of having to make a new product from scratch. Almost everyone uses the copy function to add new products. Thanks - hope to hear from you. Paul

Which version of the Autofacebook you using? Lite or the Original
