yes they can login to all sites
Is there a way to stop customers logging into either site with the same login?
We have one site for agents and the second site for retailers.
Retailers should be able to log into only the retailer site. Agents login to agents site or both, it doesnt matter. The agents site shouws all products while the retailer site only shows some. is there a way to do this with multisite?
i see Jvoce trying to do something similar around post 202 but it's not quite the same. Both sites need login to view products.
Are there any issue of incompatibility with other modules?
I have a customer with 3 sites, with same items (all the inventory is the same) and they will love to have this so they don't have the hassle each time they have to update the inventory, since they have to add it to the 3 sites manually. They have a dedicated server but 3 domains and 3 different templates. How can I install this, integrate all 3 databases without loosing orders, customers, etc?
Also I have another customer that wants 2 stores but they are going to be in same domain. Can I use this module with subdomains based stores?
Your support is appreciated.
how can you use this module with 2 sites using their seperate ssl certificates?
you can just define it in their separate config files
Hi All,
Ive got this module installed and working beautifully! Makes life soooo much easier to keep everything under 1 admin screen.
Ive managed to set it up for different domain names, but im a bit confused about how to set this modul up for different directories.
I want to have a different style on www.funkyfancydress.com/fancy-dress-shop but i cant save this name for the _config.php file.
How do i get around this?
Cheers
Paul
The more I read the more confused I become, though this is probably true of my life in general at may age.
Any way, I am still unsure of what to do regarding the dual SSL problem. I will have 2 sites, one strictly for wholesellers who must login with an assigned name/password and the other open for public retail. Because my client does not want to step on the toes of his wholesellers, the two sites must appear independent even though the stores will be exactly the same except for the name, look and pricing. No store exists at this point so it will be a clean install.
Each store must have its own domain and SSL, thus its own dedicated IP (I am using cPanel).
So, I have 2 questions:
1) If I understand correctly, the ZC installation will only be done on one of the domains (cPanel accts) and it doesn't matter which one?
2) EXACTLY how do I get the domain without the installation to use the ZC from the other domain and still reflect its own SSL?
I'm sure I'm overlooking the obvious but it just isn't clicking for me so anyone who can shed some light on this would be LARGELY appreciated. Am I just overthinking it?
Thanks!
Gary
I am looking to find someone who I could pay to set this module up on our current site. Anyone interested?
We are already running Zen at www.actionforms.ca/officesupplies
A lot of the files have been modified and the instructions don't cover what to do about that. And to be honest I don't have the time to figure it out.
If you are interested, please PM me.
Thanks
Does anyone know how to stop users registering on one site and logging in on both?
Does this mod allow each store to have different configurations. For example different product pricing and being able to use discount coupons on one store but not one the other.
I want to have two stores, one retail and the other wholesale set up like this:
mystorename.com
mystorename.com/wholesale
Would this mod work for my purposes?
Thanks.
