Apple Zen Support Thread

I am trying to widen the width of the Apple Zen template to show 4 category images instead of 3. I am having a hard time guessing on how to do this in the CSS. If someone could help me out that would be awesome. Thanks.

I love the template! However, I probably missed the post I needed in reference to a small issue I'm having. I would like to change the size and color of the sales text line. I can't seem to find the area in the css file that I can do this. I have try to add this:

#tagline {
color:##FF8000;
font-size: 2em;
}

as suggested for another template but is has no affect whatsoever.
Please help!

i have an error with the shopping cart which i cant seem to figger out!!!

the shopping cart is pushing the side box down and below the cart instead of the boxes to the side.. anyone have any idea whats happening?

just to add to this i have al;so noticed that the whole layout on this page is totally different, ie the header is different also

I just did an upgrade to 1.3.9c and that seems to have broken the template. None of the dropdown menus across the top work and only one box in the right column shows up.

Anybody have any suggested fixes?

i found my error was with the cross sell in cart button. Change to the code and removed the DIV around the cross sell in cart fixed my issue

I am trying to insert a single image file as background, but unable to do that. There seems to be 'blank patches' here and there. Anyone knows how to do that?

Hi, This is my first post so excuse me if I am off beam..

First of all if Jade is around - its a great template...love irt even if I have made a few changes.

Q1. I want to change the order and operation of several of the dropdown boxes.
a.. delete 'CONTACT US' and make it a link under 'INFORMATION'
b.. move the now vacant dropdown to between "HOME' and "CATEGORIES" and relabel 'BOOKS" with four children for book titles

To attach a link to dropdowns, do I use EZ pages /how do I do that.

I have gone blind reading all the instructions a nd a real newbie to zen/php/css etc would appreciate assist.

Since fixed some of the queries so at least I am starting understand the principles but still have a few problems which i am sure have been answered ten times before but I can't find them in the support thread.

I removed two sections from the DDown menus and copied the 'HOME' or 'catalog' header and submenus to position two (leaving five). Thru stylesheet adjusted header width to 20% -that worked BUT the submenus still are at old size.

Q1 --how to adjust width of each to match new header size?

Q2 --- I can see that the EZ pages work with info items but sitemap is now altered so need to adjust that. How??

Q3 --- I the new BOOKS header I need to make each a book with a URL link "At Home" etc. I thought I had defined these OK but for the life of me I cannot work out how to substitute/ link and change the name for each of the existing four.

Jade, its a great site.. in due couse your original zigzags willl become paw prints instead .

I am moving my store and decided to upgrade to apple zen.
I have a few mods I can't figure out,
1. I made the header narrow, and added a custom background. My background doesn't go up into the header.
2. The mouse over for the menu is still green even though I changed the skin to blue. Is there a built in blue, or grey I can change it to?
3. I am not sure I want the echo of categorizes at the top when I have such a nice menu. How would I remove the categories in the header above the menu?
