Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
I still can't get it working though. Do you actually see the tag in your generated XML?
The tag is not generated in the feed file. It doesn't seem to matter, though, as Google is not generating a missing attribute warning when the feed is uploaded. At least not for either one of my feeds. The only warning I'm getting is for Google Product Category.

According to Google though, that will change on 22nd September and your account will be suspended if you don't comply with the new requirements. At least that's what they say... :(

Google provides a feed test feature so site owners can determine what needs to be updated in the feed. The test is not kicking out the lack of the availablity tag as an issue.
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hi guys,
I have searched up and down on this forum for an answer to this and have found little help. I am using the newest version of the Google Merchant Center Feeder script. I ran the MySQL database configuration flawlessly. I adjusted the Google Froogle output under configuration and ran one successful addition to Google. When I re-ran the script a week later to add new products to Google the script gave me a blank page (404) error. The error occurs when you click on "Confirm" under Tools to create the file to upload. It's been weeks since I've looked at this and cannot remember what I've done here. I'm pretty much ready to scrap things and re-install.
My website is www.mountbaldybrewing.com/zencart/. The feed can be found on Google. Everything looks great for the products that are there but not everything is there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Joe,
Have you checked the permissions on your feed folder? It needs to be 777.

Thanks! Wasn't aware of that, I'll check it out
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
My latest feed shows many Missing Unique Product Identifier errors. When I check the listing, it has correct manufacturer, item condition, upc code.
What may/may not be accurate is the MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) I use the Products model number as a unique identifier for my own inventory and does not always match the manufacturer's model number
Question:
Can the product feed be adjusted to turn off the Products Model box and instead use the SKU box for mpn in the google feed mod?
TIA
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
what version are you using?
What sku box?
New version of this mod is supposed to be out this week. Perhaps best to hold questions until it is in play. I don't know what the changes will be.

1.10.1 is the feed ver and 1.2.1 for additional product info.

I hope so. With the 9/22 deadline, I have a lot of updating to do. I would hate for it to come out late and force me to pull an all-nighter w no time to de-bug my own data errors LOL
