hi,
Ive got the multisite module installed and working brilliantly, except that 1 of my customers has just said there is an error with the checkout success page.
The following text comes up
HEADING_TITLE
TEXT_YOUR_ORDER_NUMBER
Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/x10funk/public_html/includes/templates/default/templates/tpl_checkout_success_default.php on line 38
Ive looked at the file and its the ' require($define_page);' that isnt being recognised. I have the 'define' file in the correct folder but it doesnt seem to be calling it in.
can anyone help?
Regards
Paul
Hi Gerome I somehow got here from another thread, that project was never released. My question is this, I want one store with multiple departments to make it easer to update my distributors lists with easy populate. Would I need to have multiple databases so I can just update one dept at a time or can I make it so each dept is independent and easy populate only takes the list for each dept.
Like this I have 3 distributors with different lists and different products I want
3 different departments EG: fishing camping and electronics I want to be able to update each department independently using easy populate. Without having to download the whole store and separate each distributor's list Can this be done with your mod?
Best Regards,
Tony
hi guys, just gone through the install process and went to view shop, i get
Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cat_filter() in /home/sites/mysitename.com/public_html/includes/modules/meta_tags.php on line 47
apolgies, had copied the cat_filter to wrong functions directory..all sorted ... what a GREAT mod this is!
Hi everyone,
can't get either of the templates to load, always goes to the classic. Any ideas?
OK - Just had a question for Gerome or anybody who has a successful implementation of the MultiSite module.
We have a site with 4 different sites configured in MultiSite. When Customer adds an item (using IE6 - Internet Explorer 6.0, most likely affects 7.0 as well) to their cart in one site and then navigate to another via our 4-button navigation bar, then adds an item from that site they lose the original item which is replaced by the new addition.
By the way, our 4-button nav bar is appending the Zen Session ID to the URL to maintain the session across sites.
We believe it to be session-based as the session IDs are different when looking in "Sessions" table of the DB. So the session is not being maintained across sites as we understood the Module would provide.
But, the "kicker" is that this currently only affects our customers using Internet Explorer. We have tested our setup thoroughly with Firefox 2.0.0.9 on Mac / Windows PCs with no problems.
Has anybody seen this flukiness? Are we out of luck in being able to use this MultiSite module? Why would this happen in IE only?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice / help - phishee
Hello Gerome,
I am a new Zenner and very interested with the multisite module.
But I'm not sure if this is suitable for my requirement.
I am planning to have multistores that sending stuffs from different country.
say I will have a store for Australian customer and another store for US customer.
It is always good if I can have a single database to ease the stock, purchasing or customer management.
My questions are:
1. Can I use this module for this purpose?
2. If so, Does that mean that I only have one Zen Cart installation? or multiple sites or directories installation (at the same server), sorry, this confuse me a lot.
3. If it is in one Zen Cart installation, how does it work? Can it manage different configuration according to each store requirement such as shipping method/module, taxation, languages, currency etc?
Before I know that the multisite module exists, I was planning to install Zen Cart in different directories for each store but still under the same domain name (same server), that means that I have to have different sets of database.
I look forward for your advices, thank you.
James
Need to know if you can have different prices for each store before i install..
doing a wholesale/retail store
thanks
