If your product is sold as a 50pak then 1=50 there is no need for attributes are there?
What I want to do is have a drop down box or radio button for a product, the product is sold as a 50 pack or a 100 pack with a price for each one, so on the dropdown box choice one says -pack of 50 £10-, choice 2 says -pack of 100 £20-.
hope this explains better
is there a readme to do this?
Andy
Since the Option Values are the exact size of the order then just add the price normally.
Option Name: Size Radio Button
Option Values:
50 pak sort order 10 price 5 default
100 pak sort order 20 price 10
etc.
You do not need to use the Attribute Discount Quantity as you have already qualified the quantity and price on the Option Value ...
Marked as Priced by Attribute will make the price display as 5.00 as this is the lowest price.
My head is spinning with attribution, so much so that I've suffered a brainfart and forgotten everything SO, stupid newbie question:
If I have the following naming scheme for products in the current supplier database, eg:

AW001-BO Candles, 8" - Bordeaux
AW001-DG Candles, 8" - Dark Green
AW101-IV Candles, 10" - Ivory
AW101-L Candles, 10" - Lilac
AW101-NB Candles, 10" - Navy Blue
See how that naming scheme goes? Is there any way to fit this "changed suffix" scheme in, or am I better having a seperate product for each colour, for the time being? (Prices are same)
I would probably make 2 products 8" and 10" candles ...
Then set the colors as attributes ...
Or, you can make 2 Option Names: Size and Color
This depends on what works best for you ... I'd use 2 products distinguished by size
Hi,
How do I permanently turn off both "mixed off" and "mixed on" on the product listing page? They appear underneath the "add to cart" button.
Right now the only way to get around that is set yes/no for Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: under Categories/Product in Admin.
Thanks
Eddie
If you are using Min/Max/Unit the Mixed ON or OFF is an indicator that you can mix together or not mix together the attributes to make up the Min/Max/Unit
Linda,
Thanks. I still can't quite figure out under what condition mixed off and mixed on will show up again. The good news is that we don't have to display a lot of products at this point in time.
Eddie
If you use anything except the defaults for Min/Max/Units then you will see the setting for Mixed
Otherwise when using the defaults the Mixed On/Off does not show ...
I'm trying to make sense of all of this info, but I find that im even more confused.
Okay, I have a product (seminar registration) which is normally $179.
This item is on sale for $159 if purchased before Jan 1st, 2006.
I am set up, and everything is fine so far.
Now.... I am trying to allow customers to get 3 free registrations if they buy 3.
How do I set this up? -Also, does ZenCart utilize the temporary sales price into this equation?
