thank you for the reply. I understand you, i got the worst host i ever seen, they never respond my e-mails, i'm planning changing host but i need to see how it works. anyway, if you could do something really simple for that need, and don't cause you too much trouble it would be great, but if it means a lot of work please don't waste your time.
thank you very much
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
i've asked in my host to upgrade the php to php5, they say that can't do it cause 99% of the people uses the php4 :shocking: . they say that could change my server from linux to windows, but i don't think thats a good idea, correct me if i'm wrong please. now i'm trying to find another host company. is this the right thing to do? thank you
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
When I Reset all cache, I get this message at the top /ssu/ folder is not writable, even though the folder is set 777 it was working once, I don't know when it quit, I upgraded not to long ago, its showing 3.6.6.

Look for another host my friend. Window server may be good for some, but zen seems to run better on linux. They are telling you something that is incorrect. Most host companies have both so you can choose with one you want to use. I would move on.

I get that too sometime, nothing to worry about. Reset it again and it will probably tell you everything has been deleted.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Yes I have cleared all my cache. Here is my URL http://www.acuteperformance.com. Just try accessing the Velocity Motoring from the manufacturer drop down.
Thank you

Can you post a link to the site?

i'm testing another server with php5, i moved my site the way that faq tolds you to do, but i can't make the ssu work, it gives a internal server error every time i try to reset the cache on extra>simple seo url manager. i managed to upgrade the version of the ssu, but when i did my store stoped to work, the admin works fine but this time i can't even see the reset cache options, it gives internal server erro right away when i click on the ssu manager. what is wrong?
Thank you

No, it is not a good thing to do, do not change to windows.
Regarding your host, almost all hosts have 2 versions of php available now, sadly your host doenst have that option. Anyhow, I will look into it, but i cant guarantee, the version for php4 is too far back in the past that I almost dont provide any support for it any more
Regards

Huhm, it is weird that you get this messages. When you clear cache do you see all the files cleared? And after that do you see all the files re-populated?
