Re: How do EZ-Pages work?
can you tell me how I can create in image upload rather than a link to an image file to get the photo into an EZ Page ... right now, all I have is the ability to post an image by linking to one that is already hosted. I need to be able to browse to a local folder and post it ... does anyone know how i can do that?

You can't do this with an EZ-Page. You would need to upload images by FTP and then point to them.
Re: How do EZ-Pages work?
is there a way to do it without having to load the file on the ftp? I'd like to browse to a local folder and upload in the content. thanks for your reply.

You can try using a WYSIWYG add-on.. Install the FCK Editor add-on.. It will allow you to browse your local computer and insert an image. Zen's default HTML editor doesn't have that feature built in.. but Kuroi is right.. the better way to do it is the way he suggests..

You can use FCK editor, I know you can do this with a bit of tweaking.

In my usage, the FCK Editor add-on doesn't seem to require any tweaking.. It comes with features which allow you to upload files from your local computer or use files you've previously uploaded to the server. (Whether you uploaded the files via the FCK Editor's upload tool or via FTP)
The caveat with using this add-on is that these uploaded files reside in a separate "files" directory (as opposed to the images directory) So if you decide you want to use FTP to upload files that you will later access via the FCK Editor, the files must go into this "files" directory.
Re: How do EZ-Pages work?
If I remember correctly you will have to tweak it a bit as the image folder is hardcoded in the setting file, and if you want to be able to upload to the folder you want to have to change it.

You might be right.. I just always used it "as-is" and just use the "files" directory..
Re: How do EZ-Pages work?
excuse for asking what can be a dumb question, but how do i add my ezpage to the menu of my site?
Re: How do EZ-Pages work?
I want to use the EZ pages for a Recipe Book, making the first page a directory of products the recipes are related to, then have each "page" being recipes for that product or group of products.
When I set up two test pages, I get the PREV/NEXT buttons, AND a "Continue" button, but they don't work right.
Also, the TOC box is RIGHT justified, and I'd prefer it centered or left.
Is there a way to remove the buttons from the top, and edit the layout?
Thanks.
