I have the uninstall instructions. It says to "2.Revert the changes made to html_output.php". Can you please tell me what changes those are? Yes, I'm stupid - I don't have a backup. Yes, I know better. Yes, I'm furious with myself. But I sure would appreciate help getting this all uninstalled.
No problem at all, we all did it once or more (for me :d)
Anyhow, you can simply get the original file from 1.3.8 package (or other package if you want another version), and then simply overwrite it. Please make sure to remove the files ssu placed in includes/auto_loaders/ as well.
Also, switch to php5 is usually a very fast task (took me 5 mins on some hosts), so after putting back the store to normal you may want to contact your host regarding that.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Okay, I'm down to the SQL patch. I can get my admin page back up, but not the site.
The uninstall instructions say:
4.Then in admin→tools→sql patch runs
SET @t4=0;
SELECT (@t4:=configuration_group_id) as t4
FROM configuration_group
WHERE configuration_group_title= 'Simple SEO URL';
DELETE FROM configuration WHERE configuration_group_id = @t4;
DELETE FROM configuration_group WHERE configuration_group_id = @t4;
DROP TABLE IF EXISTS links_aliases;
If I go to admin > Tools > Install SQL Patches (is that the right place?), and copy/paste the code above, the screen comes back with results, and simply lists the code I put in. And doesn't tell me if it actually did anything.
And like I said, my store page is still blank.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
You will need this to tell you exactly what is happening, because I cant be sure which files you removed and which files you didnt

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
I have a syntax error in the html_output.php on line 96. Rather than overlaying the file on my server with the original ZC installation, I attempted to remove the code. I've just replaced the whole file with the original (like you told me to do in the first place!), and everything is back now.
My pulse and blood pressure are slowly returning to normal...
Thank you SOOO much.
Now to see if I can talk my host into upgrading to php5.
Thank you again!
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Ok, I have a question. I built www.redlinestands.com and www.mowerpartsupply.com/catalog for myself and my friend. I installed Simple SEO quite some time ago and Yellow helped me get it working correctly on my site redlinestands. Now, I'm back to work again on mowerpartsupply.com and I need to get the SEO program working correctly. As of now when you try to add something to cart it won't let you because the program is turned on. So, my question is what do I need to do to get it working for my friend Jacob with mowerpartsupply? I know Yellow told me what he did to get it working but that was many months ago and I've since forgotten. I'm thinking of just downloading all the SEO files off my site and upload them to his though with my dial-up speed that will take nearly all day. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Ian, go into admin/includes/module_installation/current_version.txt and check the version there. I would suggest upgrading to the newest at http://eazy-templates.com/web-templa...simple-seo-url

Obviously this tells google to NOT index the site. And surely this has nothing to do with SSU or any SEO module. Whoever coded the template is responsible for that. If your site is not indexed by google for a long while, go to your site, right click on the page the choose to view "source code" and see if you find your metatag telling google to not index your site
I googled this and found out it has something to do with Google's own instructions. The phrase is RECOMMENDED. To tell the truth, I don't understand what this site is talking about (it's very late here)... but if you want to read up on it here's the scoop:

Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
I need to upgrade the SEO Url, but all I can get is the version for PHP 4. Otherwise the link to PHP 5 download isn't working. It goes to the shopping cart to order installation.

The installation service is optional. you can just order the product (FREE) without installation service and checkout without having to pay for anything.
