Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hi,
Does anyone know the solution to the 'Availability' error? I have the following settings:
Show Quantity: true
Include Zero Quantity: false
Default Quantity: 0
Sales have decreased since google changed their feed :(

No one is reporting an error with those settings - is it giving you a warning for all products for availability?
what version of googlebase feeder?
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Hello,
Thanks for the reply,
I have the 1.10.2 version of the feed.
The error I am receiving is the following:
Missing required attribute: availability (250 errors, only affecting Product Search, Search API for Shopping)
Thanks in advance!

I don't know that I've tried it with the zero quantity turned off so try it that way.
A word to the wise as well:
I've found it easy to end up thinking I'm uploading the changed feed to google when in fact, it's the wrong feed, the cron job didn't run when I thought, I interrupted the export, didn't realize or forgot the feed name had changed between google feeder versions etc.
So when in doubt, also check the feed file date in ftp to see if it's the feed you think you exported. Then make sure that's the one uploading to Google.

Hello!
Thank you so much,
I checked the feed google was taking from zen cart and it was the wrong feed. I uploaded the new feed from the 1.10.2 version manually and it worked a treat  Thank You!!

This is some excellent information and may explain why several people haven't been able to solve the availability attribute problem in spite of having the correct settings.

Suggestion though: also do a search in the config table for a group id of 0. If you have results, check to see if any of those look like they are for the feeder. If so , delete them. If you have others, they also may need deleting. Having a group id of 0 means those settings don't show up in the admin and are usually from botched installs.
Delia you :censored: Genius :clap::clap:
thats where i found the duplicate,, deleted it ,,
uploaded it all again and its all there!!
:D:D
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
Looks like everyone else has solved their problems except me :yuck: Still only getting 216 out of 649 products to upload ..Have been though every product to make sure there are no duplicates all have model number and no clashes all have manufactures ..
I do have attributes for text so only use 2 of them
Any ideas
Re: Google Base Feeder Support Thread
What did it for the ones I was working on - the images... if there's a 'blank' in the DB for the image it won't seed it. If you have the product exporter 'Easy Populate', it's easy to just scroll through fast and check. If you have a 'no image' image - that's a good placeholder, but The Google does like proper images.
Have you run the Feeder in 'Debug' mode and looked at the output? Proper length titles? etc?
