You can turn the upcoming products on in the admin--configuration--index listing. But if you want them to show as a tab on the home page centerbox modules you need to edit the php file.
Thanks,
Anne

I am sorry, but that is not an appropriate request for a free help forum ;-)
Thanks,
Anne

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
And Happy New Year to you.. Respectfully I disagree with you..
The Tabbed Home Page Modules is a free add-on available in the free downloads section of this site. Anne is NOT the original author of this add-on. She merely updated it for Zen Cart v1.5, and bundled it in with a number of her templates. That said the add-on NEVER included any other centerboxes than the three it includes now includes (new specials, featured). So to ask Anne to update this add-on to add a feature that YOU need for FREE is a tad unreasonable.
She has pointed you in the right direction for what needs to be done, and if the mechanics of what is required is beyond the scope of your skillset, then you can do one of three things:
- Roll up your sleeves and see if you can figure out based on the current Tabbed Home Page Modules code how to add the upcoming products centerbox
- Ask on the support thread for the Tabbed Home Page Modules if anyone knows how to add the upcoming products centerbox
- Consider hiring a coding expert to help you add the upcoming products centerbox
Bottomline is that add-ons are submitted for free by volunteers, and it is considered bad form to expect that they are obligated to make customizations that you want for free.

If it helps, here is the support thread for the Tabbed Home Page Modules support thread: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?171012. That support thread is really the right place to ask for help customizing the homepage tabs.
Re: Abbington Mega Template Support Thread
Had she answered the two messages sent to her email address offering to pay for it we would not be having this conversation. Just my 2 cents worth. I wasn't trying to get it for free or be disrespectful and would not had asked if I hadn't seen her show others how to code stuff out in CSS instead of pointing them in a certain direction as she did me.
I attempted to change the code but it didn't work.
Re: Abbington Mega Template Support Thread
PS I didn't know the tabs weren't her original creation as the read me I could find didn't indicate this. I took over a site for someone else and was only asking for guidance and help.

Well for what it's worth what you are asking for is more than modifying CSS to achieve a look/feel. The change you want really requires some coding changes in PHP.. It's a bit more than the CSS help she provides here..

In the downloads section you can see the version history for the Tabbed Home Page Modules. The original author also is the OP of the Tabbed Home Page Modules support thread.
