What are the correct file permissions for the 6 .xml files?
Thanks.
I'm using IIS with GoDaddy and I can only set directory permissions. I'm unable to set file permissions in the root directory. The only workaround that I think will work will be moving the file to a subdirectory.
Anyone knows how to move the files to a diferent path?
Thank you
Hi
I installed this module and have ended up with hundreds of duplicate title and meta tags in Google Webmaster.
I found that i had 'Generate language_id for default language' in admin->sitemap.xml->configuration set to true - this duplicated all of my pages with language=en in the URL string.
I have since turned this to off and created a new sitemap, but is there any way to get rid of this info in Google (maybe somehow blocking all language=en pages in my robots.txt) as these pages still exist and as far as I can tell wont be dropped off by google.
Thanks
Craig
I am using this great tool, and all was well up until recently.
Now when I go to generate a new sitemap, it loads up in a small box on the screen (as it should) but it shows my shop instead!
The page it shows is:-
http://www.mywebsite.com/shop/index....age=sitemapxml
Any ideas?
Make sure you have your sitemapxml.php file under:
\includes\languages\english\sitemapxml.php
Also make sure you upload it all the files to the right directories.
It looks like you have your 404 page set to your home page, that's why when a page is not found it will show you your home page.
Hello,
After it started not working I did upload it again. I have confirmed the file you mentioned is in the right place. Still it shows my site as before :-(
Having a small issue.. hope you can help. In google webmaster tools I am getting this error
URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.
I am using Ceons uri mapping to 301 from
/index.php?main_page=products_all
Which redirects to /products
Is there a way to specify this is the sitemap when it is generated so I don't have to go in there and change it every update?
I am getting the same error. I checked and my xml files do have content. I tried sitemapproducts.xml, sitemapindex.xml, and sitemapcategories.xml, and they all give that same error even though the files do have content. Any ideas on how I can fix this error?Quote:

I,m getting this also, The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource 'http://www.mydomain.com/sitemapreviews.xml'.

Any one know what this mean.
