Try changing your Read Only attribute Flag to Used For Display Purposes Only (Yellow in color).
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion Kevin but I just tried that and it doesn't work unfortunately. Anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I would rather not have to assign stock levels to all my read only attributes, as not only would it be time consuming but it would also be harder to use the Stock By Attributes most appealing feature to me, of being able to update quantities from a csv file. Hopefully somebody might be able to help?
I'm really happy with the idea of this filter - it is more or less exactly what I have been looking for, and it fills a very big gap in Zen Cart functionality.
I am having a lot of difficulty in getting it to work with Ceon Search Engine Friendly URIs though. This is a new install of ZC 1.5.1 with Responsive Sheffield Blue template and Ceon URI mapping 4.4.1.
After struggling to get v1.0 to work I found and installed the latest Dynamic Filter I could find, which is v1.2. I have it set to use multiple checkboxes.
It works on the All Products page with no SEO friendly URLs. But whenever I turn on the Ceon SEO friendly URI mappings, the dynamic filters stop working. Whatever you select in the filters, you are sent to the start.
Something is not right, because it doesn't work on other pages even without SEO URIs on. Only the first valid option is available to select
I notice that in tpl_dynamic_filter.php there is a mention of CEON URI mapping on line 41 but there is also a mention of it in a disabled line 10. Enabling that line seems to make no difference.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Hmm. Seems that I'm on my own with this. So anyone considering installing this addon, beware a lack of support.
Works fine on my install with 1.5.1 and ceon urls. The problem you are facing I think is a big that needs fixing but the fix is that you need to create a URL for products_all ect and a this type pages.
It works with the mod switched off but when on it only works on these pages if the URL is mapped.
Hope this helps.
Good luck :-)
Yes! That helps a lot - in fact it seems to have fixed the problem. Magic!
Took me a while to figure it out myself and was a bit annoying that's what you had to do but to be honest small sacrifice for an overall awesome mod :-)
Is there a way to put links on checkbox text ? I mean when click on text link checkbox also be checked .
thx !
The way to make that happen is to make the text a label by wrapping it in a "label for" tag. You'd need someone who knows more about how dynamic filter works to tell you how to do it, though.
I've noticed that when using checkbox-multi filter type the 'disabled' text is not greyed out - the checkbox is but not the associated text.
Could someone verify that it's not just me and perhaps suggest a fix which hopefully can be achieved with css.
Many thanks
