How do I uninstall or undo the integration with Zen Cart?
I need to do this because I have to have Google Base Feeder and Live Product Search Feeder working with my cart and neither of them are compatible with WordPress.
I was completely unaware of this. So now after all the trouble I went to getting this set up I have to modify once again. Driving me insane truly.
I want to still be able to use the WordPress. It will just have to be a separate entity of its own. I hope I can get this to work so its compatible with the feeders.
Hey MB1,
Like the Word Press, pretty cool!
Comment: It looks like you have the IE6 script issues still on your Image Handler. I am one of those shmucks that still uses ie6. Maybe you don't care but the IH popups don't work.
I got it resolved on my site recently, so do a search on my handle and you will find the solution in the IH catagory.
Good luck!
thanks todd i'll have to take a peek at that
Hi Guys,
Mind shed some lights on how quickly I can adjust the Wordpress to fit into my cart? When I activate the WordPress, the Wordpress has taken up the size of of my cart and causes the right sideboxes to be push out of the original layout.:huh::huh:
Hey Guy and Gals,
Great Work!
Is there a way to change the sidebox name for this plugin?
Lastly would it be possible to make this viewable only to registered users of zencart? Or they could only comment? Thanks in advance.
Matt

I seem to have it installed without too many issues, but the "Blog Sidebar" links do not work properly. If you click one, the box becomes empty and the links are thrown to the bottom of the page??? Any ideas???
The individual blog sidebar boxes do work correctly. It would be nice to use the automatic sidebar functionality in wordpress.
Thanks - LynnS
Hi,
I was wondering if this Mod supports multi languages?
My cart is Dutch and English and soon more. I use multilingual ezpages, but that misses a respond an rss option. Therefore my interest in word press.
looking forward to the answer

Perhaps someone would like to be paid to fix this issue for me, along with a couple of others as it relates to this script?
Thanks - LynnS
Thanks - I inserted the CSS file - but the issue still remains that when you click on one of the links in the "blog sidebar" box, or any of the blog links on the sideboxes, the links within the "blog sidebar" box are removed from the box and placed at the bottom of the page. Any ideas? - Thanks again.
In wordpress mod zip, there is a file,
tpl_wordpress_default.php..
In which template directory did you place this file?
Wordpress sideboxes..again, in which template
directory did you place those files?
Both were placed in the includes/templates/template_default/ sideboxes and templates directories ...
LynnS
No change - btw ... there are 2 tpl_wordpress_default.php files - one as normal and one as .php.v12 (which I assumed was for an older version of zencart)
LynnS
Yes - I have reloaded everything twice. The "Blog Sidebar" box only works properly on actual posts pages and the index page of the wordpress installation. If you click any other pages (blog pages, archives, category pages) then the sidebar box goes blank. I am still willing to pay someone to correct this issue rather quickly.
Thanks - LynnS
I would love to use this mod but am having a problem I have no clue how to fix. I've read this entire thread and not found a solution, though I'm sure it's something simple. The problem is that although Wordpress initially shows up in the center column of my Zencart, any link I click takes me to Wordpress itself instead of staying within Zencart's center column. If they opened in an entirely new window, that would be fine, but instead they completely navigate away from Zen. I am running Zencart 1.3.7 with practically every mod ever written installed, lol. Wordpress is installed in its own directory because I wasn't terribly clear on how to install them both in the same directory. Is this where the problem is coming from? and if so, can someone who is fluent in English---and please, no offense was intended to the author of this mod by that comment---explain to me how to install them in the same directory?
I have gone through this forum and cannot find a place to put a want ad for hiring someone to fix this thing for me ... So, I will put it here.
I will PAY someone to fix this issue with this particular contribution.
The "Blog Sidebar" box only works properly on actual posts pages and the index page of the wordpress installation. If you click any other pages (blog pages, archives, category pages) then the sidebar box goes blank.
I will also be wanting the appropriate SEO friendly url contributions installed respectfully also.
Anyone? Simply email me or contact me through my web site - xeara dot com
Thanks - LynnS
Hi everybody. I've spent the last couple of hours reading through the entirety of this thread, and I have a few questions.
First of all, BIG THANKS to hira for developing this mod, and misty for her extensive support in this thread.
I've set up a ZC (1.37) store before, and I also have a personal Wordpress blog, so I'm fairly familiar with both. I've found through my personal blog that Google absolutely EATS WORDPRESS UP and I want to leverage Wordpress for "informational purposes" (i.e. killer white-hat SEO) for a new ZC store.
Since everything is going to be fresh, I want to use ZC 1.38a and the latest WP release.
First question after having read this thread is: Are we pretty sure this mod will work with the latest releases of both?
Second question: Would somebody mind breaking down for me exactly what I'm gaining with the integration via this mod?
What I mean is... why wouldn't I just install WP in the root, ZC in /store, or ZC in the root and WP in /info, and use separate databases (preserving load times,) while merging the CSS to homogenize the styling, and linking extensively between the two "sections" of the site?
With no disrespect at all intended, please don't misunderstand, as someone who hasn't jumped into this yet, the thread has given me the impression that the mod comes with its set of challenges. And logic would suggest that the challenges only increase as other ZC and/or WP mods/add-ons/etc. are added to the mix. Seems to me that the advantages of the integration would have to be pretty compelling to outweigh the advantages of keeping WP and ZC "clean" and making the interaction between the two sections as seamless as possible via more conventional means, i.e. extensive crosslinking between WP and ZC and, without having tried it yet, the use of the WP add-on for sideboxes which will execute PHP code to add ZC sideboxes to WP.
Again, I don't mean any disrespect and I certainly don't mean to imply that this mod is useless or counterproductive. To the contrary, I'm here in the first place because it looks to be quite useful. But, having not played with it yet, I guess I'm not fully up on why I should go this route vs. what would seem to be the easier route, which would be separate, independent ZC and WP installs on the same domain, with one in a subdir and separate databases, and "integrating" the two the old fashioned way.
Thoughts? I'd appreciate any input.
Hi There Stroke,
I came to the exact same conclusion as you did. I primarily wanted the blog for SEO optimization. (frankly, I don't care much if anyone reads it, so long as at least google does). So in the end, I decided to post create a link to blog from my index page.
You can check it out if you want at the certified battery link below.
There is also a mod that allows you to place zencart boxes outside of the core zencart store. I am personally going to reexamine that to see if there is someway I could improve the integration of my cart back to word press. I don't know wordpress well though... just getting started. Any tips to help me cut to the chase would be welcome!
Good luck,
Thanks for the feedback, bifficus. Nice sites you have there.
Regarding the ZC boxes, keep in mind that I haven't yet tried this with ZC code, but there is a Wordpress add-on out there that creates sidebox widgets that will execute PHP (the out-of-the-box WP sidebox widgets don't.) My assumption is that you could simply paste ZC sidebox code into a PHP-compatible WP sidebox widget, adjusting paths and such to compensate for its new home in a subdir. I imagine it's not quite that simple (it is ever?) but I would guess that it's a pretty small task.
Hi Stroke,
I just added Wrodpress to another site I have that's not a zen cart and I like wordpress. I plan on adding one to my zen cart site, but I can't think of any reason to add the mod after looking it over. It would work, but not the way I would like it to. The RSS Feed and site map mods did what I was after. using both mods has placed my items around 5 or 6 on Google and getting more hits from the other bots. I've linked both feeds from my blog and zen cart to feedburner and been mass feeding the bots. I think holding your blog at a subfolder level on your site would work the same and placing links on each site would play better with the spiders.
I guess it depends on the type of site. I'm feeding just 1,000 items and not my entire site. Not something to use wordpress for.
my Blog
In the top left box is my feeds back to my store, both RSS and Atom. I'm still building more on both sites to better feed the search bots.
A little advice, if someone would be so kind...
I have zero experience using a blog of any kind and truthfully am not even sure if this module is applicable for my desired purposes. I would like create TWO running question/answer pages within our Zen store; A his and hers. (I am a glass bead maker and my wife a jewelry designer) Is this the best add-on to achieve this? Also, how would I achieve two, individual blogs within the same _shop?
Thanks for any help!
Tim
Could be done using two standalone installations of wordpress,
and not actual zencart mod..then use The Loop at
http://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop
to call posts from those WP installs into an ezpage or
define main page..
Wordpress integrated into zencart, via mod, can slow down
site/store performance.
Alternatively, why not use a forum..only one need be installed,
with different topics per his/her main subjects..
PHPBB 2.0* has a script facility for calling posts into a block outside
of actual forum..did have such a block somewhere that fitted
into zencart sideboxes...
HTH
This thread deals with WORDPRESS and not PHPBB.Quote:
I tried to link phpbb2 many times, but I didn't succeed. Do you mind showing a zen cart site with phpbb2
Suggest you use search function, link near top
of this page, for PHPBB..
Were you ever able to fix this behavior? I seem to be experiencing the same thing with most of the sidebox links. When I click on the "Blog Sidebar" sidebox link, I go to the blog within the ZC centerColumn, but clicking any of the other sidebox options puts me out to WordPress directly (outside of the ZC template). Putting code into my define_main_page.php to parse blog entries directly using the loop works fine as well.
Thanks, Karen
What I would like to do is what I have done in the past with strict HTML and that is to have a page with writings and different products offered for sale that relate to the writing. Can this be done?
Beth-katherine
This is one of the slickest mods out there!
Thank You!!!
It works very well with both ZC and WP installed in the site root.
Sharing the database makes the MySQL Backup mod grab all the data.
The Google Sitemap mod works perfectly in harmony with the WP sitemap plugin and includes the WP pages in their own entry in the sitemap index file.
Add a few plugins like NextGen and cform II...
This really puts the icing on Zen Cart.
Don't use a wimpy server and all will be well.
Hey Kiddo!
Very nice rounded corners mod, thanks very much. I often click the links at the bottom of people's posts, and the CSS help and packages you have for Nifty Cube and Nifty Corners were a rea help to me.
I wanted to post here, even though it is off topic to Word Press, because this is where I found your link, and think other people should check out your work too.
Thanks again,
Todd
Thanks!
Make sure to edit the configuration javascript file to your liking. I have most of the stuff commented out and it breaks some browsers if you don't customize it first. I guess I should fix that in the kit.
Sorry to be off topic in the thread.
And now back to your regularly scheduled topic...
Hi,
I have installed this mod and the first page (.../index.php?main_page=wordpress) appears fine as do the sideboxes. However if I click on any of the blog links I lose my shopping cart template/styling. Have I installed this incorrectly or is there some configuring I have missed?
the cart is on http://absholdings.bpweb.net/index.php?main_page=wordpress
I have installed wordpress in a folder called blog in the root of my shopping cart
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
Rachael

See kiddo's comment above..Quote:

I, personally, have never yet successfully installed
zencart Word Press Mod in its own folder i.e. blog...
works fine as kiddo states, when installed into zencart root directory
and shares zencart database.
Just BACKUP zencart database BEFORE installing
hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I think I am being a bit think so please bear with me. If I install it into the root of my zencart folder wouldn't it overwrite the zen carts index page?
oops, I meant being a bit thick not a bit think - point proven :D
Latest version of ZenCart Word Press mod, dated
August 2007..instructions included, read as follows
Quote:
Wordpress and Zen-Cart into the same directory.
Step1)Install of WordPress
Download the main body of WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ and unzip.
Upload all files except index.php of WordPress to [Path of WordPress].
has anyone used this mod twice on the same site? I have two different sections that could use separate blogs - trying to create a CMS style feel. Is this a possible install if I customized the files "wp_" to something different on the second install, like "news_"? Or is there a better option?
You would have to clone the module and end up with another set of entries in the layout-box-controller so each copy of WP had it's own boxes.
I think the second copy of WP though would have to live in a different directory than the site root and as previously mentioned, there are issues getting that to work properly.
Would be pretty cool though...
That begs the question, is there anyone working on a Joomla on Zen Cart mod? ;)
I have a Zen-Cart store working fine. I have wanted to add a blog. I am not familiar with Wordpress, although I do now have it installed on a test site. I would like my blog to be "under" my store - in other words I want ZC to be the boss and the blog on WP to be the servant of ZC. I want there to be consistent styling between ZC and WP.
Will this mod do this for me and do I need to be up to speed with WP before I start the integration process?
Thanks.
I'm very confused as to why this isn't working for me. Please help!
I have the newest versions of zencart and wordpress. I have wordpress installed in /public_html/wordpress/ and zencart is installed in /public_html/shop/
Here's the page where wordpress is supposed to be: http://www.gleefulthings.com/shop/in...page=wordpress
Here's wordpress:
http://www.gleefulthings.com/wordpress/
please help! :(
Wordpress is looking for that file, and cannot find it.Quote:
file not found home/gleeful/public_html/wordpress/wp-config.php
Secondly...have never yet got this mod to work, unless wordpress
is installed in same directory as zencart..i.e. in this case, would be
your directory /public_html/shop/
ok, I guess I'll have to reinstall it there. Is it best to put all the files directly into the shop/ folder or should I make a Wordpress folder in the shop folder?
Am I going to have any problems with the tables it creates when installing? Will the new one just overwrite them or something?
Hi!
How do i uninstall wordpress for zen-cart?
I didnt quite get the instructions in the readme..
Do I just delete all wp files in my directories, and delete
the wp entry in the database?
thanks!
I unistalled my WP that was outside of the shop directory and now have reisntalled it into the same directory as zen cart and it still isn't working.
http://www.gleefulthings.com/shop/in...page=wordpress
help :cry:
yep, that's the exact path to it.
No, it has it's own database. Were they supposed to be in the same one?
// ** MySQL settings ** //
define('DB_NAME', 'gleeful_wordpress'); // The name of the database
define('DB_USER', 'gleeful_julie'); // Your MySQL username
define('DB_PASSWORD', '********'); // ...and password
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost'); // 99% chance you won't need to change this value
define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8');
define('DB_COLLATE', '');
Ideally, yes.Quote:
Were they supposed to be in the same one?
BACKUP ZENCART DATABASE BEFORE INSTALLING
WORDPRESS
ok, I put them in the same database this time and I'm still getting that same error. I have another problem now, when I was in the wordpress admin, I changed the url to the zencart one and now when I login to my admin, I get an error page :cry:
I've just decided to delete wordpress. I'm afraid of messing up my store with it.
I'm having a problem getting my sideboxes to display correctly. Part of the rounded boarder is there, with a few line breaks, but the background color won't display like my other sideboxes. I tried using the code from the post below but it didn't work.
I've this entire thread (about 20 times) and wasn't able to find the answer. If it's already been answered my apologies.
http://www.thebasher.com/bstore
I got it!! :clap:
I just had to change the "centeredContent" to match the correct class in my style sheet.
Two days of trying different code and it was just that simple. I think I will take a nap now.
Hi everyone, as soon as i change my config to include the path to my wordpress folder, i get an interesting error on every page of site:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5 bytes) in /home/sites/mysite.com/public_html/includes/languages/MYTEMPLATE/english.php on line 537
Line 537 relates to: define('CART_OT_SHOW','true'); // set to false if you don't want order totals
Any Ideas?
if i leave as supplied i.e
('ABSPATH','/var/www/vhost/example.com/public_html/blog/');
then the site works fine, but obviously displays the message on the wordpress page:
file not found /var/www/vhost/example.com/public_html/blog/wp-config.php
Forgot to say, using zen 1.3.7 , wordpress 2.3.3 and the WOZ 1.3
just found this in the history text file of the WOZ:
Wonder if this is the problem?Quote:
(not found page addition and language file reading bugfix)
Hello all,
Im using the latest version of SEO URLs the latest version of WOZ and ver 1.3.8a of ZC also using the rss feed contribution.
I am trying to change the permalink setting in WOZ to custom. It let's me change it and it shows up in the address bar like it should but it wont display the blog post now. The address changes in the bar but you continue viewing the same page you were just on.
I am also having trouble with my RSS now. Since the SEO URLs were installed my RSS shows up as blank white pages. No errors, just blank pages.
Is this all related? Can you help?
Thanks,
John
I've been searching all over and can't find an answer to this. I've installed Wordpress on Zen, and none of the category/archive/post/comment links work.
What's happening is they look like this:
index.php?main_page=wordpress/?cat=11
When the working URLs should look like this:
index.php?main_page=wordpress&cat=11
What can I do to get these links working correctly? Is there a way to replace the /? with &?
I'm using the default permalinks, and I've tried this both in a separate directory and right in the main directory with Zen Cart.
Hello,
Im starting to think that nobody is home here.
since i have installed WOZ and SEO URLS clicking a manufacturers link will take visitors to the blog.
Please help.
John
I was able to install this successfully (major shock since I can *NEVER* get things to work for me), but now I have a cosmetic question.
http://www.queerrepublictees.com/ind...page=wordpress
How can I get rid of the current sidebox on the right-hand side and put the breadcrumbs (or whatever you call the navigation section starting with 'pages' and ending with 'WP') in its place – but ONLY on this page. I know I can use layout boxes to display the sideboxes that were packaged with WP, but this makes it display on every page. :(
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
**UPDATE:**
I spoke too soon ... I found out I didn't do something right and had to start over from square 1. :cry: Maybe it will help others to know that installing WP in a separate directory did not work for me (as Aeolidia said none of the links would work), but installing it in the same directory as ZC did.
My next issue was having the WP sidebox show only on my blog page. The way I did this was to turn the WP sidebar on in Tools > Layout Box Controller and then add the code #wpsidebar {display:none} at the top of the main CSS file (not the CSS for WP).
Hopefully this info will help somebody .....
Might seem like a silly question but I really need to know. If I install this mod, am I able to disable it so no one can view it online while it is in the works? I have this mod on my things to do list but I am just not sure if I should already have some articles ready first before doing so. I don't want to have a blank blog that anyone can access.
Thanks for your time.
Thanks for the info. May I recap my file info to make certain I understand you correctly.
I use an FTP program to access my files.
I open up the public_html file where the INCLUDES and IMAGES of my Zen-Cart are located and I have my WordPress folder named NEWSLETTER.
Is this the right place or should the folder be within the INCLUDES folder in order to work?
Beth-katherine
I'm trying to add a blog (from my wordpress mod) to my home page. I tried using this code from S-page.net:
<fieldset>
<legend>Latest Post</legend>
<?php
$posts = get_posts(‘numberposts=5‘);
foreach($posts as $post) :
setup_postdata($post);
?>
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a>
<?php /*the_content();*/ ?>
<br />
<?php endforeach; ?>
</fieldset>
But I always get this parse error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '=' in /home/content/b/a/s/basherbeatz/html/includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php on line 5
Has anyone been able to achieve this? If so would you care to share how you did it.
Thanks!!
Love the mod. :) Had it for a while now.
Question: (and yes it's a stupid one)
I am trying to move the links and header title in the blog side box 1em to the right. I know this is a style sheet thing, I am just befuddled as to what to change. The WOZ style sheet was copied and pasted to the bottom of the main style sheet tonight. *shrug* Although I couldn't get it to change when it was its own file either.
Here is a link:
http://www.libragear.com The box is at the bottom of the sidebar. :)
Many thanks in advance, and I told you it was a stupid question. :P
Kate / Libra Gear
Arg! I had that same problem and was able to fix it, but for the life of me can't remember what I did. I'm sure I added something to one of the sytle sheets, but don't remember which one. I had to uninstall the mod because it interfers with the live feed mods I use to submit to google, msn, ect. If I remember what I did I will post it.
Ok, like I said, I don't have it installed anymore, but I looked at the mod and I think in the style sheet for WP, try adding the following:
to this:Code:margin-left: 10px;
Not sure if that is the right spot, but I think that is where I put it.Code:#sidebar ul li {
list-style-type: none;
list-style-image: none;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
Good luck.
This mod is awesome! Just wish I could get it installed on my site! :lookaroun
I've tried everything amd managed only to crash my site - geez!
I've uninstalled everything and my site is up again.
I could never get the install.php or the setup-config.php to function.
I'll give this another go when I'm not so fried!!!
Be sure to visit this thread soon - I'm sure I'll be asking, no BEGGING for help! :blink:
Yep! Back as promised!
Getting error:

Any suggestions?
Hello
Trying to install wordpress, I loaded all files to my hosting as stated.
How do you configure :
"When you access [WordPress admin URL]/setup-config.php by a browser,
Installation Wizard of WordPress is displayed. "
I could not get this work, I tried;
www.pillownpillows.com/wp-admin/setup-config.php
Please Help
thank you
Hi. :) It looks like you are getting a 500 internal server error. I keep running into this. :) What it means is that there is not enough memory allocated to php.ini. The new version on wordpress takes more memory than earlier versions. All you need to do is contact your host and ask them to increase the memory allocation to accommodate wordpress. I can't speak for all hosts but they shouldn't have a problem with that. Good luck. :)
Kate
Has anyone tried to install this mod using the new WordPress 2.5? I was curious... so I tried it and ended up getting a ton of errors. of course, I figured this would happen, but not really sure how to go about fixing them. I just thought maybe the creator of this mod might want to release an updated version to work with the new WordPress. The main error I am getting is:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/c/i/t/citrussew/html/includes/templates/template_default/common/html_header.php:22) in /home/content/c/i/t/citrussew/html/news/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 689
When trying to "jury rig" this issue, I was just making things worse. So, I set everything back to the way it was right after the install was complete and figured this would be a good test to possibly get it working.
Feel free to check out the WordPress page on this site, although there is not much to look at.
http://citrussewandvac.com/index.php...page=wordpress
I was just getting ready to install this when I noticed what phycel stated. Maybe I should put it off. Is anyone out there using the newest version of WP with ZC?
Yes, most definitely put it off! I cannot even log into the Zen Cart admin now. It keeps looping around... if I type in an incorrect password, it notifies me that it is incorrect. If I type the correct password, it just reloads the login screen and goes nowhere. This is even after I took off all the WordPress files from the Zen Cart folders. I'm sure I will be up all night trying to figure this out.
What is weird though, WordPress was in a separate folder and controlled by a totally new database. None of the WOZ module files were put into the admin area, so how did it mess this up?
Oof! Good luck, I'm clueless on that. I a pretty basic user/programmer. Hopefully nobody else will fall into the trap and will read this forum first.
Jacque
Hi. i upgraded the other day on a new site I am working on and it went really smoothly. Basically you *have* to delete all of the old files. Back up your template files first though. Then upload the new WP and run the upgrade file that they state to use in the directions. It will then tell you that your database is old. So click the button to upgrade it. Then you can upload your template files again. Be sure to NOT upload WP's index.php file. It should work just fine. I believe that was all I did to get it to work.
This version of wordpress takes more memory than other versions. You may need to request more memory for it from your host. They should know what you are talking about. :P My host was great about it. Good luck. :)
Kate / libragear
oh and back up your wp-cofig.php file. It will need to be uploaded with the WP package before you run the upgrade script. It needs that info to upgrade. :)
Kate
Exciting! I have a fresh install of WP 2.5 so if I understand correctly I just need to follow the directions.
Jacque
I did a fresh install of WP 2.5 when I was receiving all the errors and such. I could not even log into the Zen Cart admin -- and wordpress was in a sub folder, not the root folder w/ Zen Cart. So, really not sure why it is working for you but didn't for me. Unfortunately, it was very important that I uninstall it immediately for obvious reasons. Maybe I will try again with a fresh install of Zen Cart and WP 2.5 -- and see how that goes.
I wish the guy who created this mod was still supporting it. I haven't seen any activity from him in quite some time.
Thanks for letting me know it worked for you! At least I have some hope and will try again.
The install that I just did had zen and wp in the same folder as well as the same database. That stemmed from the fact that my clients host only allows her one database though. You might want to look into the memory thing. Were you getting blank screens or perhaps a 500 internal server error? If that is the case I can give the text I used to contact Doteasy (my host) about it.
Kate
Naw, its not a memory issue because WP functions just fine on its own. I have quite a few installs of the new WP functioning very nicely... and no problems with memory. So far, I really love the new WP -- so I may give this a try again. The client I was doing this for decided he would rather have the Google Base Feeder working -- and unfortunately they do not work together. I might just run the blog entirely separate and use some WP techniques to display things in the sideboxes of this site.
Thanks for letting me know of your success though -- I have another client who is really enjoying WOZ. He will probably enjoy it more with the new version of WP.
Take Care!
I'll give it a shot tomorrow and will post the results here.
I'm off for a walk to my favorite Thai restaurant. Anyone want to join me?
:)
Jacque
Cool. I am anxious to see how everyone's upgrade goes. I just updated my own site and it went smoothly. So good luck to you all. If you need help let me know :) And I so want Thai now... thanks.
A quick question before I hit the road.
Kate, in looking at your site it appears your blog is automatically inside of the main_page.php.
Is that what this contribution does? I want to keep my main_page.php, just want to be able to have the blog view within ZC. Kind of like info or ez pages.

I actually have an extra piece of code that I found many posts ago in this thread that puts the blog on the front page. If you don't use that piece of code in the main page then it will have the blog at http://yourURL.com/? and then you can just link to it. :)

Ok then. Off to din-din

After reading the last few posts it sounds like people have managed to get WordPress 2.5 and Zen Cart 1.3.8a working together (using WOZ).
Can someone confirm this please?
Good Morning!
I have installed Wordpress in the root directory... Zen cart in /store. Things are improved this morning- I'm not getting an error message! It all still looks a little funny but that's cosmetic!
My main question here is... When I goto www.mysite.com, I'm getting the generic wordpress template. When I goto http://www.mysite.com/store/index.ph...page=wordpress I see the wordpress in my zen cart template (which is what I want - minus the cosmetic issues of course). How do I make www.mysite.com look like that?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Nancy
I keep silence for a long time.
I am sorry without getting time without having replies really. It is after a long absence that I accessed a forum. :cry:
A problem seems to occur by installation to WordPress 2.5. I prepare for a demonstration site and want to test it.
Because I report it after a test some other time, please already wait slightly.

Thank you for supporting this module and this thread.:hug:
Hi,Alex Clarke
I tried a combination test of Zen-Cart v1.3.8 and WordPress 2.5.
Because blog introduces it, please access it.

It works without a problem in particular.
