The best thing to do is to upgrade. 1.5.0 is really, really old.

Started getting a sudden influx of robo account creation, so a quick search turned me here. I read back quite a few pages looking for someone else experiencing this issue but couldn't find anything, so I apologize if it has previously been covered.
I downloaded and installed the module. I am running zen-cart 1.5.5a, and everything *seems* to be running as it should be. I created the keys on my google account for the domain and put them in the appropriate file. I copied the files to my server, I inserted the recaptcha line into the account creation page for my template, and the recaptcha shows up where I want it to on the page.
The only problem I'm having is that when I fill out the account information, check the recaptcha box and then click "submit" to create the account, the recaptcha ALWAYS fails. I have tried this... 20+ times. Enough that clearly something is wrong.
What did I miss that might be causing this issue?
Does it work on your Contact us form?
I actually didn't add it to the contact us form cause I haven't had any issues with spam there, but I will give it a shot and see what happens.

i am having an issue with the google captcha on the create account page. contact us works
FEC captcha was not working so i updated to newest google recaptcha version 3.2 but it still allows a customer to create an account without checking the captcha.
this happens with or without FEC activated.
First thing that comes to mind is to check your /includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/create_account.php and compare that (if you have one) to the default as this is involved and could explain why the plugin works but not for this page.
