OR
write a specific ie7 stylesheet to adjust the width of the dropdown menubar
Thanks for replying so fast. I think it's the whole Center column shifting, at least that's what i get after pressing browser compatibility button in IE8. I also used a free website to view some snapshots for my website in other browsers, It is acting the same in IE6,7 Opera 8.5 and others. This is the link to that website and it has the snapshots already taken. This must be the reason i'm not selling on it so far :frusty:

Out of the box the Cold Steel template will look pretty much the same in ALL current versions of FF, IE7/8, Opera, Safari and Chrome.
The dropdown menu, You are using in the "center column" area, was designed to be used in the header. So you'd have to adjust the width, margin and padding settings in the mod's css to make sure it fits the area you are using it in.

Ok, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Re: Cold Steel Template Support Thread
Ok, i removed all files from the header menu and uploaded the standard cold_steel template stylesheet and i have the same problem: the center column is shifting to the right in IE7 and prior.
What else can i try to fix this?

I just checked the site in FF, IE7/8, Opera, Safari and Chrome and didn't notice any shift to the right.
I can't speak to IE6 since I don't use or have access to that version.

Update:
after i replaced the mainwrapper from the image provided in the template to a simple #fff, it seems that the shifting is gone

Hi Clyde,
I am new to Zen Cart and I am using your cold steel template. So far I have been able to figure out how to configure everything from reading everyone else's q&a, but I have run into a problem. I am having difficulty centering the contents of my main page into the rectangular border that surrounds the entire contents of the pages. Here is a link to my site so you can see exactly what I am talking about.

Can you give me some insight on how I would go about doing this? I have searched through everything I can find, and I'm completely stumped!
Thank you!
