Got it. My web person is looking at it now. Thanks!

Before I embark in one of my crazy attempts, I wanted to ask, is it possible to use an external server to host the images?

So.... Hypothetically.
You're living in San Francisco and drive to San Diego each day to change cars and drive to work in LA?
Some folks think it might be helpful but, I just can't see it in an e-commerce environment. Zen Cart structuring would have to be changed dramatically.
Just lag time for operation would be a definite no for me. Of course, there are a myriad of other reasons as well. I can just see the PCI folks salivating thinking about once again making the big bucks "securing your site."

Yeah, I figured it was a dumb idea the moment I hit that post reply button
Thanks nonetheless.
Re: Update Snap Affiliates for 1.5x - Version 4.1.3
Anyone coming here from JROX JAM:
It appears that JAM is now abandonware - you have to bypass browser protections even to download it because they didn't renew the SSL certificate; the version of PHPMailer that's being used is old and insecure; the help pages no longer work.
So SNAP might be your best plan for moving forward.
Re: Update Snap Affiliates for 1.5x - Version 4.1.3
In Admin > Referrers, I clicked the Home-page Link (main_page=index&referrer=CNWR_....), added an item to my cart and checked out.
Back in admin, I refreshed Referrers and did not see the order in their Orders Total.
What did I do wrong? Enable Storefront Processing is set to true.
Zen Cart 1.5.7d, PHP 7.3, Chrome.

It's been a while since I used/touched that plugin, but I'm pretty sure that there's a configuration setting that indicates the order-status(es) for which an affiliate-related purchase counts towards a referrer's account balance.
Re: Update Snap Affiliates for 1.5x - Version 4.1.3
There's a setting which shows which should be skipped, but not one which shows which should be used. And the skipped column is empty.
- Is my technique for testing valid?
- Is there a way I can verify the creation of the cookie on the storefront?
Re: Update Snap Affiliates for 1.5x - Version 4.1.3
Use the browser's "Developer's Tools" and look at the cookies to see if the cookie's recorded.
Re: Update Snap Affiliates for 1.5x - Version 4.1.3
Thanks for your guidance. The cookie was there and when I ran an order using the link from My Account > Affiliate Marketing Tools (done in a separate browser so it wouldn't be a self-commission) everything worked ok; I think I had finger trouble or perhaps hadn't turned on Admin > Configuration> Affiliate Program > Enable Storefront Processing yet.
No trouble found! :)
