i can install cross sell from admin module manager, but i get the error :

then it seems i could use the module cross sell, but then i get the same issue sailsport1 had

Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
one way box problem resolved after loading the js file.
still not sure if the following question matters, since it seems the module goes well now

I found a way to fix this but I'm not sure if it was a wise thing to do.
I had my original copy of init_yclass (I wisely backed up before replacing!) which had only the following code on it:
Code:
<?php
require_once(DIR_FS_CATALOG.'includes/init_includes/init_yclass.php');
?>
I uploaded that original one and the error went away.
I was able to proceed with setting up the xsell items and everything appears to be working just fine.

Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Zen Cart 1.3.8
Just Another Cross Sell downloaded from Google; latest version
Hi. I have read some questions from this thread that are similar to mine but they don't seem to be answered.
1. Upon installing module_manager, there was an init.y something file that I uploaded. Upon installing the JASC module, it had the same file name needing to be installed in the same folder so I overwrote it...Was that the right thing to do?
2. I do believe I followed the instructions to a tee but I seem to continuously get errors.
**I get HTTP 404 Not found page whenever I go to admin/catalog/cross sell.
**When I try to edit cross sell items from "List All Cross Sells" table, I get the message " No Product was Found with the XSELL_FORM_INPUT_TYPE:" on top of the admin page.
My website: www.thesimplestdesign.com
Please help me. I tried to solve it myself for 4 days now but I am such an amateur, I'm stuck.
Thanks
Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Hi, everyone. It's me again. Just wondering if I was unclear in my dilemma listed above or my issues are too hard.
Any one have had these issues and have some ideas?
I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Have installed the cross sell mod but after configuring it, when I go to view the product with cross sell items, it takes long time to load the page and shows the xsell items all in one column and many times (loop?). Because its showing the items so many times, the page is slow to load. Any file to check?
Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Hi, I'm having the one way cross sell error too: "Please input main product's id". I've been searching the thread and this seems to come up every now and then but I can't for the life of me spot the solution - sorry if I'm being dense. myworld20091 says "one way box problem resolved after loading the js file" but what's the js file??
Can anyone help?
Cheers, Emily

Those are:
cross sell product to product (old),
product to category,
category to category,
category to product
I need to see if it is worth it or now, reason is:
To cross sell so many ways like that we will need more than 1 queries executed to pull out the products. I will consider caching but still it will use more resources that it is now. So let me know what you think. Is this worth it?
I would like to see this as a tab on the Admin/Catalog/Category/Products page.
I know there are no tabs there now, but if a guy was to wish, I would like to see all product particulars on tabs on one screen. So that when you click on a product "Product_A" on tabs across the top of the page there would be the product info (price, desc, etc) on one tab, attributes on another, cross sell, IH2, featured, salemaker, reviews, meta_tags price_manager. Get my drift? So we don't have to go to 8 different pages to edit all points of one product.

Re: Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)
Hello
I believe this is the mod I am looking for. I want to suggest that people add this item to their cart as it goes with the displayed item.
So looking at it I understand that I need to install the mod manager at
http://code.google.com/p/zencart-mod...downloads/list
I am a little confuse on which one I am to install so I downloaded the Mod Manager Alpha 1 and unzipped it. I do not see the install instructions.....someone please let me know if this is the correct mod manager.
Thanks from a novice
