Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Hi there

I'm having a problem with my additional images.

I have zen 1.3.8a and the last version of IH2.

Take a look on this page:

main image called: Akre_ARomanticNight.jpg

additionals called: Akre_ARomanticNight_01.jpg

and Akre_ARomanticNight_02.jpg

in my admin area... everything looks ok...

sorry if this problem was solved before... I just spend 8 hours searching and reading... and when I found a people with my same problem... the person don't post again... or just don't get a reply.... and like my main language is not english... I have a bit loss at this point...

Without seeing your site, all we can do is GUESS what we think the issue is.. My only guess is that perhaps your additional images are not the SAME format as your main image. (something talked about in depth in the readme) If your additional images are PNG and your main one is JPG, then this would cause the issue you are having..

Download restoration.zip and look at the Images page there, that should fix your problem, after it is fixed you can tweak settings to your liking.
Always use IH2 to upload additionals, unless you know very well what you are doing.

Aargh, after spending quiet some time in to the damn watermarks, I've realised the following problem.

I think I installed a wrong version of Image handler as in for Zen Cart 1.2 when I have Zen car 1.3
And now my titles are all wrong. As I see in the screenshots which all look good mine is just all wrong.
When I go to admin and go to Image handler instead of saying Image handler it says: BOX_TOOLS_IMAGE_HANDLER when I go there the title is IH_HEADING_TITLE

select = IH_HEADING_TITLE_PRODUCT_SELECT
The action box = TEXT_INFO_SELECT_ACTION
The text in it = TEXT_INFO_CLICK_TO_ADD

I'm guessing he is trying to fetch the right text but just can't find it so gives the names the programmers gave it.
I don't know how to fix this as it's quiet unclear how to uninstall image handler to do a fresh install cause just overwrighting the files doens't seem to help.

Help appriciated.

I am new to Image Handler... I just downloaded Version 2.0 rev 7 (Last Updated: Sep 17 2009)...

I have read through the readme.html file which appears to be revised for v2.0 r7 and it talks about being careful not to directly upload the "Optional Extras" folder. I cannot find any "Optional Extras" folder in the download. I downloaded twice just to make sure I got a good download. Is this "Optional Extras" folder and files within no longer apart of this contribution? Is the readme.html file not entirely updated for the latest version? Can I disregard any talk about "Optional Extras"?

Simply delete any files that you uloaded as part of the install.. Any files that you merged or modified as part of your install you will need to reverse your changes.. That's as easy as it gets as there is no "un-install" routine/program.
