Avonlee Contempo Template Support Thread

First of all, I love the template. Thank You. The site is looking great. My only issue is that I need to remove the Gift Certificate, Whats new and Conditions of Use from the footer. I have tried commenting these out from the footer_menu_defines and no luck. I have spent hours researching and cant get it. Please help!

To remove something from the footer menu you need to remove both the define statement and the constant that is down toward the bottom of the file ;)

I am fairy new to Zen Cart and love the Avonlee Contempo template. The documentation has been great so far. So, I'm sure that I am missing the location to the answers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1) I would like to change the Browser Title to my store name. Currently, it reads "Avonlee Contempo, Free Template....". Is it possible to change the title?

2) In the footer of each page, there is the FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, etc icons which link to the "Zen Cart Design by Picaflor Azul" pages. Can I change this to my store's Facebook pages?

1. If you do a search in the faqs section of this site for how to change the title in the browser bar you will find a tutorial.

2. There are instructions in the readme.html file for cusotmizing the footer social media icons links.

I would check with your web host about this error. You can also check your logs folder for error logs.

thanks very much for the nice template!

I'm trying to have the what's new box on the start page always on. Now I have to click on "New" to open the box. Is there a way to have it open all the time?
