YAY, and sorry for misunderstanding you before too. Tend to get testy when I get only 3 hours sleep in the week (mom with alzheimers and I am her caregiver, she is bedridden)
I set all the image sizes but the product listing w-h once I set it to another size it gave me the med hover image. So now I have the small/med hover/ large when clicked on. thanks
Product Info - Image Width Product Info - Image Height
that is also one i set to get the medium size, the others are set to the small size, in my case 155-225-700

unfortunately I can give no clue what to do for abs007, even before IH2 the ability to have the additional images with the next button has never worked for me either.
IH2 uses the lightbox way to name the images, I use the listing under tools to set the images, but I only add each image to the small section so only get each image at the bottom that needs to be clicked on individually.
Wish the images were set higher up like directly under the description but thus far it works great, I can even have them organized by vendor, in case any should need to be deleted I do not need to hunt the images...just delete the folder.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Can't help you with the lightbox, but I can offer this.. I use the Fual Slimbox add-on for lightboxes on my sites, and the behavior you are desiring works ALL the time for me.. All images (main and additional) are included in the lightbox with the a[appropriate navigation as you desire.. Suggest switching lightbox apps and see if you have a better experience..

I have image handler 2 installed and it is working fine. I wanted to add additional images to the product information page so that a user is able to enlarge 1 image and then click next if other images have been added.
Im also using zenlightbox.
I went through the tutorial section and have uploaded the images using prefixes xxx_01.jpg xxx_02.jpg and xxx_03.jpg
xxx being the actual image name. I then also created xxx_01_LRG.jpg, xxx_02_LRG.jpg, xxx_03_LRG.jpg
However the additional images are not showing up. I came across a thread which advised that IH2 actually deals with images in another way.
I have been able to add additional images through the actual image handler 2 are in the store admin>catalogue and going to whichever category then product.
These images are showing towards the bottom of the page. An example can be found on the following url
http://islamicmodestwear.com/index.p...products_id=63
However this is not what i am looking for. Im actually trying to have 3 main images so that once the top image is clicked on it enlarges in the lightbox then has an arrow to scroll through other images if available.
Im having a hard time trying to get this to work and believe that i am doing something wrong. I have read through alot of this thread but with all honesty it is big and gets fairly confusing.
It would be great is someone could shed some light on how to get this to work
thanks
abs

Hi thanks alot for the reply
So is it as simple as removing the lightbox files - uninstalling the sql patch and installing the slimbox?
Thanks

Yep.. It's tedious, but that's the right way to do it..
I recommend making sure you, BACKUP before installing any mods.. If you backup te site, then rolling back is easy, and it's only a simple matter of removing any SQL changes..
I know folks say it ALL the time around here, but I too ignored it.. Until I got burnt enough by installs gone wrong that now backing up before installing is now second nature..
Here's how my procedure for mod installs now:
- Backup site
- Create a copy of the site backup to use as my "working" copy
- Use Beyond Compare (or Winmerge) and compare ALL of the files in the mod I am installing and my store, and merge all required changes.
- Any other changes required for the mod to work are done on my working site copy.
- Upload files from working site copy and any other required mod files.
Doing it this way gives me an INSTANT fallback position. From the site backup files I can bring the site back to where it was BEFORE the mod install if I need to rollback. Usually the only thing that needs to be done if I have to rollback is to undo any DB changes the mod may have required..
Good luck I think you'll like Fual Slimbox..
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I hate to have to add to this humongous thread but I am not going to read three over 400 items to hope for an answer!
I have used image handler for a long time now with no problems. I now have a problem. A major problem.
This poor site has been moved around a lot and when some of the medium sized images weren't showing and after supposedly dumping the image cache, the problem persisted. I decided to start from scratch more or less.
I made sure all the correct files were on the server and then emptied the bmz_cache folder so that it would start over again. And oops, now image handler doesn't work at all.
I've installed and reinstalled to the database via the admin interface. I've dumped all caches - not a browser problem. So obviously zen is still looking for the previously cached images which I deleted out of the bmz_cache folder.
And yes bmz_cache is 777.
I then copied over the old bmz_cache folder from the other directory and now more medium images are missing. It's like it's not creating any new cached images.
Oh, and I turned off the use of the large and medium image directory in case that was complicating anything.
Anyone with any thoughts?

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Totally stuck on the install of this. I am using a custom template that i purchased for my website and want to install image handler. I have downloaded the latest version of image handler, renamed my custom_template folder to the name of my custom template, uploaded the files to the server overwriting where necessary.
The site and admin panel still work as normal but the new Image Handler page does not show up on the Tools menu as it should. Nothing seems to have changed at all. I have checked and checked that the files have uploaded correctly but still nothing. I'm baffled. Has anyone else had this problem? I've attached a screen on my FTP to prove the files are there, and one of my admin panel tools menu. GD version is 'bundled (2.0.34 compatible)' by the way.
Thanks

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
are you sure you uploaded the admin files? Having that show up on the tools menu is automatic if your admin files are all in place.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I have just whilst double checking this worked out what i have done wrong! I'm an idiot. I'd renamed the admin folder during install for security and forgotten to do it to the image handler folder before uploading.
It's always something simple isn't it. Cheers for the help though.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
now i forget some people have renamed the admin folder...we all do something not so smart...in my case too many times to admit to...lol
glad you figured it out and thanks for posting what you did
