Yes, that's because some of the templates are fluid but Sophy Blue is not fluid it's fixed width.Quote:

Try to align the column and sideboxes with the same configuration settings given in the template readme file. If that doesn't work then you will have to play a little with the numbers until you align them.
Then you will have to recreate the header to whatever width you want it.

Found a fix for the bug on IE with the forms:
Look on your CSS for:
Add the line in red:Code:FORM, SELECT, INPUT {
display: inline;
font-size: 12px;
margin: 0.1em;
}
That takes care of the cursor out of the forms. :cool:Code:

The change to 750px in the CSS #headerWrapper section didn't solve the IE alignment problem.
I will try the sophyblue update once I get the time to back-up my current settings.

Also I noticed you have several CSS uploaded. Maybe there is one overrriding the other one. Delete the ones with numbers and check it up.

Sorry about that, can you change it back? The template is not fluid so you will have to do few changes to the graphics and css to convert it over.

No, I don't think is because of being on a subdirectory, that shouldn't be a problem. I think I've mentioned in this thread something about it because I had the same issue but is not template related. Let me take a look to my notes and get back to you... (please give me a day or so).

I just checked the template and is not giving me any errors, the search not working thing happened to me with another template not Sophy Blue. I believe you are missing a file somewhere because this has not been brought to my attention before, and as you said, not even on your other site. Check all your override files and specially that thread you mention in your post.

I've looked through several pages, and haven't found my answer yet, so hopefully I'm not repeating someone else's question.
First off, I want to say that this is a gorgeous template, and the color scheme is almost perfect for the website I'm building. I only had to change the background a tiny bit to exactly match her site background. Thank you for that!
I'm running into a small problem, though, and it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to add her logo into the header, and the alt text is showing up, but the logo isn't. I'm wondering if it's because the logo is a little bigger than the pretty blue-bordered box. I was hoping it would expand to accommodate the slightly larger logo, but if this isn't the case, I'd just appreciate confirmation. I can go in and reduce the size if necessary.
If it's something else, could someone please let me know what I missed? Thanks!!
Also, there's a dot above each of the category listings in the center section. I'm assuming those will go away when I add specific images to each category, is that correct?
Oh, and one last question (I hope): I notice that the headers on the left sideboxes (Categories and Search) are slightly misaligned from the dropdown boxes beneath them. How can I fix that?

Hello, there's a bit of 2 things. Yes, you will need to re-size it to fit but that's not the reason why is not showing. Probably you changed the name of the logo (to something different that it was set) and didn't change it on the language file so it looks for your new logo. Go to:Quote:

and just put the 1px border to 0 or eliminate the whole line about the border referrence (this will also affect the product listing images, product main image, and product add. images.

Column Width should be 200px and Sidebox should be 185px.

It looks like you re-named your logo to "logo-large2-png" and probably didn't make the change in the file ideasgirl pointed out.

I tried using relative urls and absolute urls, but it hasn't made any difference. For whatever reason, the logo still isn't showing up.
Thanks for the other info...I changed the sidebar and column width, and now those sideboxes show up perfectly. I'm not worried about having borders around the images; I was just making sure that's what they were. But I appreciate the info on how to change them, if Debra decides she'd rather not have them bordered.

I think I've found the problem, but I don't know what caused it.
I did a Show Source for the http://www.debrasglasscraft.com/gallery/index.php page, and this is how the url is reading there:

I'm thinking that the easiest solution is to copy the logo-large2.png over to the includes/templates/template_default/images/ folder, then change the full url in the header.php file to just logo-large2.png.
Either that, or I could just alter the header image, adding the logo inside it...
Yes, that did the job. If anyone has a suggestion as to why the url got screwed up that way, I'd love to know. Could help me troubleshoot other stuff down the road.
Last question: Do you think the logo should be centered and have a dark background, like the outer pages? http://www.debrasglasscraft.com/new/index.htm and http://www.debrasglasscraft.com/gallery/index.php
If so, how do I do that? I'm guessing I can just add the dark background into the header.png image, no big deal...but I don't know how to center the logo inside it.

Scully good you solved the problem but you went through too much trouble to do it. See, you are not supposed to put the whole link like you did. Only the logo file name, all the references are in place to look for it. The logo file should be on the images folder of the template and on the language file just the name of it.Quote:

I solved the problem, but I should be able to put the graphic in a place that's logical to me (i.e. my gallery/images folder) and be able to call it directly from there. There should not have been a lot of extra code embedded where it couldn't be seen, forcing me to save the image to a folder that's not logical to me, just to make it work.
I did a lot of graphics work last night, and now the outer site and the shopping cart almost exactly match. :D Would it be easier to modify the header.jpg by adding my logo, or use a centering command in the header.php file to center the logo inside the header.jpg? If the latter, what command should I use, and where should it go?
