the reason your site is hanging may be because the file size of that image is large about 1mb, which is fairly large for a product image, i am assuming that photoshop resizes and resamples the image to a reasonable file size and dimensions
Have you looked at the image size and dimensions after saving it in Photoshop and comparing then to the original
the dimensions for the image you are showing are listed as
Exif Image Height: 2592 pixels
Exif Image Width: 3872 pixels
which is HUGE as the average monitor screen is only around 1024px by 768px high, so i am assuming the reason the images go up after being opened and saved in Photoshop is that photoshop is "saving for web" which probably sets the quality/compression at 80% and the dimensions to something more appropriate
Hi, the problem is only when i use Image Handler addon, site work ok if i use standart ZC images. Yes the picture is big, but i`m set to IH settings to resize it to 700x400px, and mybe there are problem in the IH scripts when process the image.

IH2 works and works well.. However there may be a file size limitation. Which is not a problem it is simply a limitation.. No matter, what we are saying is you should try re-sizing your image before uploading it with IH2 and see if you get a different result.. We believe that the issue is that you are attempting to upload a VERY large image (possibly TOO large) and that may be the reason you are having the issue.. Try re-sizing the image your 2592 X 3872 image to a smaller dimension and then try the upload again.

What is the most recent version? I am planning on implementing on my live site soon and wanted to know if I should do it now or the new release is out soon?
I am on 1.3.9B
Thanks for the great plug in.

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I am having serious problems with IH2. I have changed the main image on some of my products and now NO additional images show on the site, but they show in IH2. I have tried setting file permissions, re-uploading the IH2 files, and some other things people suggested. But the additional images for those products still dont show.
Also when I look at the HTML of my product i see that the additional images code returns nothing:
<!--bof Additional Product Images -->
<!--eof Additional Product Images -->

The most common reason for additional product images not showing is that they are not the same format as the main product image. For example the main product image is JPG and the additional images are PNG..
As indicated in the readme, IH2 does not stop you from doing this, but it will presume that additional images are the same format as the main product image and name the additional images accordingly. This of course will render the images un-readable..
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Regarding next version: I'd rather do it well than do it fast.
Upgrade instructions have to be written, changelog has to be in place, updated settings for the Images page, etc.
If in a hurry, just use rev. 7, it will work fine on all environments, please understand that the next version is an improvement on something that works without problems now.
Upgrade from rev. 7 will be just looking at the changelog and uploading new files.
