Newsletter-Only Subscriptions for v1.3x

Hi All,

Sorry if this issue has already been address in this thread but I couldn't seem to find it. I have a bit of a problem creating an account with this mod. When I put all my details in and create an account it comes up with this error...

1146 Table 'bea15660_zc1.TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS' doesn't exist
in:
[select count(*) as total from TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS where email_address = '[email protected]' ]

I know it's an sql error but I don't know how to fix it as I don't know anything about sql. If anyone does know please tell me as I am meant to launch this Friday. Thanks!

Hi Bx1,

Not sure if this is the solution but it's worth a try... Why don't you just copy and paste the .sql file again.

The error suggests that, the constant TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS which should be pre-defined, was not found. You may want to check if you uploaded all the files correctly.

Thanks for your replies. I just realised why I don't have the sql table. My download didn't come with an sql query and I can't find it anywhere. Is anyone able to post what I should install as an sql patch? Thanks.

How to add a define_subscription_confirmation.php and directly write my own subscription-confirmation information in Admin?

Hey all. Sorry for posting again but I'm so close to launching and I can't until I get this sql problem fixed. If anyone could give me the sql file or point in the right direction where I can find it that would be fanstastic! Thanks guys!

As far as I remember all of the ver2 had the SQL built in. Admin-Customers-Subs Manager and there was an install button, which ran the SQl scripts. There is no separate SQL file. Code is in /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/subscription_manager.php

Thanks for your reply Chuckl. I had a look at the subscription_manager.php file and it does seem to have the code built in. However when I try to create a new user I still have the same problem. I must have deleted the table somehow :shocking: How do I get this working? Any ideas? This is an absolute nightmare :frusty:

Again, admin-customers-subscription manager. There is a remove button, then install again.
