RSS2 Feed Contribution

Hi there,

I installed the RSS feed mod to my site www.retrogamesale.com, but when I click on the rss link;

in firefox it goes to a blank page on my site with no footer,

in IE the feed only appears on the login page and I get 'Internet Explorer does not support feeds with DTDs'

I have installed Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8 and the latest rss mod with no other mods.

when i installed the mod it didn't say what to do with the 2 update SQL files so I haven't used them for anything, could this be why and if so how do I install them?

Any ideas anyone?

I might be blind but...

Installed RSS Feed on my ZC v1.3.7.1, read the Readme file instruction about 10 times, literally -

When I try to bring in the RSS into a WordPress Blog (using Simply RSS Fetcher ) I only get the Bulletted product names and links to them.

No images, no buy Now buttons no description... Any clue what I am doing wrong???

I have this working, but have a question :smile:

Is it possible to add some code to a sidebox, so rather than having a small icon in the header or footer, I can have a large icon of rss.gif in a sidebar that will do the same job as i think this would be far more effective visually.

Pretty Please im really stuck.

how does one update their feed, as mine is showing all products which has been deleted.

no one can help, need to update feed

Go to your server root go to/cache and delete the rssfeed_file there. If you have more than 1 delete them all. When someone clicks on your feed it will update it self. You need to do this when ever you update your store.

what things are suppose to be in your cache folder, as i had more than 100 rss feed files, which ive deleted plus there are other files in there do i need to delete.
