Oh, it's simple, you seem to be missing the sql file.
Maybe you can try to download the module and upload it again:

Thanks for quick answer, but still no joy.
I messed up the module before installation, like so:
I moved the docs folder out of the folder structure because that should not be installed, then I got confused and also moved the module_installation folder out and ran the SQL.
So to fix I dropped the module_installation folder to admin\includes\ and restored DB from backup.
Now I get different error:
http://www.example.com/ladywig/admin...cons/error.gif Failed: 1
http://www.example.com/ladywig/admin...cons/error.gif ERROR: Cannot create table module_version_tracker because it already exists http://www.example.com/ladywig/admin...ns/warning.gif Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.
http://www.example.com/ladywig/admin...cons/error.gif Failed to set up version tracker table
I can always restore the whole site from backup, including DB.
Then download module zip again and reinstall without modifying folder structure, I can always move out docs folder later.
Do you think that is the way to go?
Oh, easy, here goes:
"After installing itself, this module writes a file named ".keep" in admin\includes\module_installation, if your server doesnt allow it to do so, it may make the module attempting to install itself everytime. The fix is easy though, just manually create a .keep file there (after the module has already installed itself, of course)"
Thanks for sticking with me there.
So now I got rid of the errors.
But nothing happens when I click on actions, e.g. List all modules, nothing, all blank.
Same when I click on Install new modules: Found and attempted to install 0 new modules
Is this normal?
No, as I said, List all modules doesn't show anything, no ssu.
I cannot PM admin info, because I am on a local site.
I always try to get things straightened out there before going live.
However, I can install this on live site if necessary.
You let me know.
Oh, wait, I haven't installed ssu yet, just module manager, so should I continue with SSU?
Am I good so far?
Well, I believe you missed the sql needed, which are included in the ssu package, somewhere in admins/includes/module_manager/ssu
Yellow I think he should do a backup of his data base on his local hard drive then re-install the module manager and seo and don't forget to add the keep file if it doesn't create it. See what happens then. I believe that will clear things up for you.
Yellow,
ssu wasn't there because I haven't installed SSU yet.
That ssu folder is in the SSU/admin/includes/templates/templates/ssu
My question is really simple: I'm not getting errors in module manager now, but not getting anything either, so should I continue with the installation of SSU anyway?
Just a remark: isn't that templates/templates/ structure redundant?
countrycharm,
I have already restored everything from backup and installed module manager, as described above.
I think that tomorrow will continue with SSU, too late now.
Sorry, I am extra cautious and test every step.
I think that tomorrow everything will be resolved.
Thanks a lot.
templates/templates/ because i use the same structure with zen, so you can later have templates/css/ ^_^
I do have a mini template class inside the module manager ^_^
Yup, if you do not get any more error, then it's good.
