Yes, you can set the home page to open with categories in admin--configuration--layout settings.
Thanks,
Anne

I am happy that you figured it out!

Re: Abbington Mega Template Support Thread
Hi Anne I tried that when first working on the template but I lost the red tabs, what I'd like to do is keep the red tabs but replace the new products listing with my catergories but keep the tabs. So I would have catergories, featured and specials and the catergories would be the first one viewed.

Hi Anne,
I've got a problem: i've installed your template following the guide, and everything is ok except one thing.
In my homepage the box with the new, freatured and special product is not open when i load the page, i have to click in on of that section to expand and see my product in there.
Do i miss something?the SQL patch didn't give me errors.
Thank you for help!
Re: Abbington Mega Template Support Thread

I basically used the Tabbed Home Page Modules module to create these (I changed the code a bit for validation reasons). You could see if you can modify this module to add the categories as a tab.
Thanks,
Anne

If you post a link to your site I can take a look.
Thanks,
