Folks,
We are quite aware of the need for:
- access to old contributions
- a place to upload new contributions
- access to the new contributions
- the ability to identify contributions based on what version of Zen Cart they are designed for
- even the ability to support multiple versions of a certain contribution.
We're working agressively to complete this system, and will activate it very shortly.
Your continued patience will be greatly appreciated. We like to sleep too......

Hurrah! Great to have it back - however, a couple of questions:Quote:

Secondly, is a download for that version and that version only? In the backup plugin description, DrByte has remembered to note that it's "Compatible with Zen Cart v1.2.x and v1.3.x", however, it might be an idea to have a second dropdown with the known versions of Zen Cart, and a choice of "+" and "x" as well. So you would have "compatible with 1.2.0 - 1.2.5". Just a thought, not a complaint!
Was also wondering if the forum and downloads databases could be synched so that people don't have to maintain 2 logins for different parts of the site?
Sales Report runs fine on 1.3x.Quote:

Agree that additional description fields are needed for each individual mod/contribution. Various such data fields have been recommended previously. As stated a list of the ZC versions the specific mod version supports is most important. Would be good to see a field with a link to the 'official' forum support thread and a PM link to current mod author/maintainer. More clear labeling of version number (assume this is the mod revision number applied by the author/developer of mod) is desired. In the mod description/history would be good to know if the mod was a direct port of OSC mod or a new mod developed for ZC. Also a bit of mod revision history (version, date, ZC versions supported, whom updated code/maintaner for that version, etc.).
Would be cool if a standard 'readme" template could be posted so devs could use as a guideline listing the minimum info that should be provided in the mods accompanying readme.txt. A readme should be required for uploading to download section.
I must be dreaming ;-)

Yes, good points too.Quote:
