If you use IH2 to upload your main product image image (meaning you have NOT uploaded a product image at the time you created a product), the IH2 interface will provide you the option to choose the image directory where this image should be uploaded to. In the IH2 interface ou will see a "Base image directory" section which will allow you to choose one of your "images" folders sub-directories (or you may choose to upload the image directly into the top level "images" folder). Once you choose the directory where the image should be uploaded to, all additional images you upload via IH2 will then be uploaded to the same directory.
on the other hand...
If you uploaded your main product image at the time you created the product, any subsequent images you upload via IH2 will go into the same directory you uploaded the main product image into.

That particular discussion is kinda off-topic for IH2 support which is why I asked Nigel to PM me that information.. I'm sure he'll be happy to share it with you too and/or if he shares it with me I'll post it in the appropriate place on the forum so that everyone can make use of the information..
Now if this hack is possible update for IH2, then I hope Nigel shares this information here... and if Nigel doesn't object, I'll be happy to incorporate it into the IH2 code and upload an updated version with this code included..
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Thank you all for clarifying these things for me! Love the contribution!

Awesome!!! Once you play around with IH2, you'll see that it really is pretty easy to install and use..
I use it for my clients because they don't have to "learn" how to name images for Zen Cart to recognize them as additional product images.. (though it's pretty easy to do manually, for many of my clients, it was a bit mind blowing..) With IH2 they simply upload their additional product images and IH2 does all the "heavy lifting" of re-naming for them..
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Yessir, once the default image size was clarified for me, I was off to the races.
The IH2 works wonderfully and extensive read me file got me moments away from the full desired effect. Now onto the watermark image.
Thanks again.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
My larger image link has stopped working now. The only thing I changed was I installed the Simple Google Analytics addon.
The box pops up but no image inide it. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? :(

Thanks,

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I just found out, my probably with the larger image link not working was being casued by the Simple Google Analytics add-on. When I change the tracking method back to the default (ga.js) it works fine.
When the tracking mode is set to Asyncronous it breaks the larger image link. I have posted now in the Simple Google Analytics support thread, asking if it is a bug.

Ben I assume you have partially fixed this as when i click the larger image link the popup has the image in it, although it appears the image is coming from the images directory rather than Image handlers cache, was it a case of having to exclude the pop-up url, as is the case with one of the other seo mods?

I'll provide a link here as undoubtedly someone will ask in a weeks time and I will have forgotten, this sets a default on the add product page of zencart, i have never bothered about looking for a way to set the default in IH as all my clients upload via the add products page and if they do add additional images via zencart they will be uploaded to the correct directory automatically,

Same here.. wasn't sure if your hack was a general Zen Cart hack or an IH2 hack..
