I had uploaded the bmz_cache folder from my other test site.
Any light shedded would be very helpful.
uploading the bmz folder only uploaded the cached images...what you could do is try this:
go to your admin panel of the test store > tools > ih2 > admin in its navigation and delete the cache.
then uload the images folder from the store you got the bmz folder from.
this way the ih2 can grab the image and make the cached on its own.
the test store...do you have the items listed in categories like the first one? is it a store with nothing added from the live store?
I am sorry I did not see a link anywhere.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I had additional images installed before I installed this mod. I installed it and the additional images disappeared. When I go to the IH2 manager it shows that the images are being loaded but it shows a broken image link in the admin and the additional images don't show on the product page. Any ideas?

did you make sure you uploaded everything intothe proper folders on your server?
did you visually verify the names of the additional images...for isntance that they match the primary image with extension...png for png additionals, jpg for jpg additionals gif for gif
if you mic them up they will not show. If they are in the lrg or medium folders then they may not show up either.
a link would be grand to let diva and the ones that are more familiar with the internal workings of this wonderful mod
but first I would check the files oh yes and I think the additional images file needs to be merged as well as one other one that I can't remember off hand so if you did not merge or edit the file you had that also can cause problems....
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Is there any way to remove this mod from the data base with out doing it through the admin panel. I'm having some other issues with my admin that won't allow me to do so.

Yes, but....
First you should back up your data base and you should only remove IH from the database if you're uninstalling the mod altogether.
Note: If you're having other problems in your admin, there may be more going on than just your troubles with IH.
To remove IH from your database, log in to your cpanel and go to PHPMyAdmin.
Select the Zen Cart database by clicking on it. Once there, go to the search tab. Select "all words" and type in IH
Beneath that, click on "Select all" to select all database tables. Then click "go". This should bring up a list of all tables that reference "IH" in any way. Be aware that not all of the results are related to Image Handler, so be careful what you delete.
Once completed, you can repeat the process using Image Handler as the search string (instead of IH) to see if there's anything left over.
In my database, all my IH files were in the zen_configuration table. Anything else it found was unrelated. But everyone's database will be different depending on what you have installed and how you have things configured.
Be very selective. If you hose your db, you hose your entire store.
Always back up your database before you do anything in there. Even if you're just looking around with no intention of making any changes...one time I was doing just that (browsing) and one of my dogs jumped on my arm, causing my hand to slide the mouse pointer to "delete" and when I tried to shrug the dog off me, I clicked the mouse button.
Accidents happen - db backups are essential - even for browsing.
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Wow this is so frustrating!!
I obtained new watermarks that are the exact size as the origal watermarks and they still aren't showing up.

The hover function seems to be working okay.
I've viewed the site with MSNExplorer and Firefox, no watermark on either.
Any suggestions?
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Hi,
I installed IH, and seems it's all ok save one thing:
while the main image larger view opens zen-lightbox, the additional images open the large images into the browser window.

What did I miss, and how to correct it?
Thank you.

They do not have to be the same size.. They DO have to be the same FILE NAME and FILE FORMAT as the ones that come with IH2. Do your watermarks meet that criteria??

You will need to post your question on the lightbox support thread as I'm afraid this is not an IH2 issue, but an issue with your lightbox install..
