Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue V 2.0!
Hi Anne :)
I want to add to the footer social media icons - the Google plus icon and link.
I know to make the html command in the footer menu in the Admin panel
but what about the icon ? You use something like "fa fa-facebook" etc' to get the icon graphics.
How does this fa fa work? Where does it hide the icon graphics ?
How should I add the Google Plus with this fa-fa ?
Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue V 2.0!

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue V 2.0!
I'm a long-time Zencart fan that's been testing out the Sheffield Blue Responsive template over the last few weeks (Zencart 1.5.1, using a copy of an existing, working site). Things are looking good except for one bug: layout settings that are set in admin (eg. Column Width and Show Customer Greeting) seem to be randomly ignored when a page is re-loaded. For example, I have the Customer Greeting set to "off" in admin, but intermittently the greeting will still show up on my home page.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
Matt

Might I ask for your best guess as to when the next update will be out?
Thank you

I have no guess. I wish that I could devote full time to the free templates, but unfortunately, I need to make a living and the donations for the free templates are few and far between ;) I need to work on the free templates in my free time which is very limited. As always, I hope to do a round of updates soon, but can not commit to a date.
Thanks,
Anne

After my upgrade I activated my template and everything runs fine except the green thin line stating " Enabled Responsive Sheffield Blue Configuration Menu." seems to be permanently appearing in my admin. Is there a way to deactivate this notification?
thank you
This is a bug in the template installer. If you read through the thread or do a search of the thread you will find the relevant posts for fixing it.
Thanks,
Anne

I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean. Can you give me some context or more information?
Thanks,
Anne

If you look at the font awesome site you will see a list of the various icons available and how to use then. My guess is that google plus is something like fa fa-google-plus.
Thanks,
Anne

This is not a problem with the template package.
