Reward Points Module - Hide message when 0 points offered

I'm using Rewards Points Module 1.21a - pretty handy - and would like to offer reward points for items in only selected categories.

I understand I can fix the RewardRation to 0 for items that are not rewarded.

How can I hide the rewards points text (on the item listing) when 0 points are available?

Is it possible to set the redeem ratio for specific items or categories?

I'm trying to enable customers to use their points towards charitable contributions - at a much higher redemption rate than if they use them for a discount (we'll subsidize the difference).

Example: If a standard .01 redemption rate gives a $5 discount on $500 in purchases, the same $500 in purchases should make $50 in charitable contributions.

Ideas?

This is done for the next version. Just unzip the attached file to includes/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE FOLDER/templates.

How does the customer currently donate? It would be better to add some code to that mechanism to do the job.

I've checked it out and it would appear that you have not set the 'Adjust Reward Points for Sales/Specials' configuration item to '1'.

Brilliant! - this did exactly the trick - I'm looking forward to a complete implementation of this plan!

We'll be using the Reward Points Module to create an incentive for our customers to support some charities we support.

So, on behalf of the beneficiaries of these charities (and myself) -MANY THANKS! Great Work!

Yes- I'll put v1.22a up on Monday. In the meantime if you use the file attached in the pervious message you can remove the Reward Points when they are 0 (or less)

That is a good start. However, that appears to simply not display if they are not greater then 0. The problem looks to be much deeper, as a purchase made on an item with a negative reward displayed post negative points to the customer.
