You need to post your question in the correct support thread.. You are running IH3, not IH2..

When posting bugs/issues, it's a WHOLE LOT more helpful to resolve them if you post details. Just saying "it's broken" or "doesn't work" does not provide nearly enough information to help YOU resolve YOUR issue.
Please provide as MUCH information as possible including:

- The version of Zen Cart you are running
- The version of Image Handler you are running (you can see this by going to “Admin > Tools > Image Handler” – the version is displayed in the upper left hand side)
- Any other add-ons you may have also installed
- Hosting/server information (PHP versions, mySQL versions, hosting provider etc)
- The EXACT error/issue you are experiencing
- AND if you're REALLY detail oriented, tell us the install sequence/method you used to install Image Handler.
- Post a link (not a screen print) to a specific product/product listing page where the issue you are experiencing can be seen (Please DO NOT make folks fish through your site looking for an example of your issue)
AND this last point is important.. The volunteers who help here need to SEE what you see LIVE. A screenprint really isn’t good enough.
One last thing all the spaces between your domain name is not necessary.. (kinda makes it a PITA to get to your URL) If you don't want search engines to pick up your URL, simply adding spaces as so http:// qisahn . com is sufficient to prevent your site from being indexed..
Provide the requested info to the correct support thread, and the community can help..

A "gentle" reminder for those who are using IH3 (THREE) vs IH2 (TWo)
Reminder: This is the Image Handler 2 (TWO) support thread.. This NOT the correct support thread for Image Handler 3 questions..
As folks don't seem keen to search the forum before posting questions, it seems like I need to re-post a "gentle" reminder regarding Image handler 3..

Hi DivaVocals, i really do appreciate your reply and comments one this. To explain myself, i was running version 2 prior to asking the question.. then i read through the thread and found a version 3 so i upgraded and i posted on a v3 support thread.
Sorry for the confusion. :frusty:

However, I'm unable to upload my bmz_cache folder. I've even tried to make a new folder with the name bmz_cache for IH2 to use but I'm not allowed to do that either.
It all began to go wrong when I read that you should change the bmz_cache folder's properties. When I did that the whole bmz-cache folder disappeared.
Any idea how I can get my bmz_cache folder uploaded again ?
Cheers,
Kim
Sorted. Somehow my Core FTP lite wasn't able to show my bmz_cache with it's new properties. However, in another file manager I could see the folder and correct it's properties. So now I have my bmz-cache back again :-)

Re: Image Handler 2 Support
I just installed Image Handler 2 on two different sites. The first one is working GREAT!
The second one uses additional images and, none of the additional images show up. I went to the admin and told it to uninstall IH and now my additional images are back.
Any idea why this would work so well on everything but additional images?
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Back yourself up, turn yourself around, remove IH2 and start with IH3:yes:

Would be nice if the IH2 documentation pages mentioned that there was an IH3. I had no clue IH2 had been replaced.
Secondly. There is nothing in the IH3 docs that I can find that talks about how to upgrade from IH2 to IH3, nor methods to uninstall IH2.
The only way I see to guarantee this will work is to start over with a virgin zencart install which is not an option.
Did I miss something in the docs somewhere?
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
Old mods never list the existence of a newer version. It's always a good idea to look for a newer version when upgrading. I do an advanced search at the beginning of each month with the Date From set to the preceding month. For example, at the beginning of June, I set the Date From at 05/01/2011 and clicked search. That resulted in ten modules that were added or updated in the month of May.
On the IH2 front, go to Admin >> Tools >> Image Handler to remove it. This is also stated in the readme for IH3 under installation. Installation instructions often include upgrade instructions for those with previous versions.

Ok, pardon my last post. I was a blind idiot and didn't see it :)
IH3 is now installed, resizing is working, additional images is working but... The hover on zoom is NOT working.
Back when in installed IH2 on another site, i found the problem was the custom templates dir had not been updated. That is not the case here. And when doing a view source on the pages, there is no javascript there. Whatever is suppose to include it isn't.
The site is here http://www.thehookahstore.com
Re: Image Handler 2 Support
In my last post I said the hover zoom wasn't working.. Well, in some places it is...
In side boxes it works, Also purchased works.. pretty much everything works except the product listing. No zoom on product listing nor new or featured products.
