Thank you Anne for the clarification. I am using 1.5.1 (essentially because it is available for 'easy' installation on my Host server by my Host company )
I will look into the Ajax file problem and see if everything that is supposed to be there is (obviously not of course).
Many thanks again for your time.
Did you see my other question about turning the Left Slide Out off (we may wish to do this at times)
The template itself is great, so thanks again.
Mike

If you installed the cart using any of the "one click" installers you should delete it and start over with a fresh install of 1.5.4 using the zen cart native installer. Never use a one click installer on a live site.
You can hide the left slide out using css with a display:none;
Thanks,
Anne

Re: Winchester Black Responsive Template
Since this template now bundles in Zen Lightbox are any instructions in the template files for anyone who might install Image Handler after installing this template???
or
Is the expectation that shopowners are supposed to get help from the Zen Lightbox and/or Image Handler support threads??

This template comes with zen color box installed. And yes, it someone has questions about any 3rd party plugin, they should ask it on that plugins support thread.
Thanks,
Anne

Right.. However, I think it would be beneficial for those using this template to at least have a very basic instruction about installing Image Handler AFTER installing this template included in the template instructions.. It will probably save a few shopowners some headaches..

As with any plugin, if there are the same files in the plugin package and the template package, merges will need to be made.
Thanks,
Anne

Anne.. I understand that.. But shopowners often don't always read the readme files that are included with the modules.. The Image Handler readme includes very thorough installation instructions which include explicit instructions with regards to the lightbox contributions to prevent the issue we commonly saw reported when folks install Image Handler after installing lightbox modules.. I'm simply suggesting that you might want to do the same in your template's installation instructions because it won't harm anything to include these instructions, and it will save a nascent shopowner some easily avoidable issues & frustration.. (which is why this kind of information was included in the Image Handler installation instructions to begin with -- it was low hanging fruit with immediate benefit)..

Why don't we just leave the extra instructions here on the forum thread. I think that we all know that the number of people who install the templates and look at or read the readme files is extremely low. Then if they have questions about it or need help and post I can refer them to the post.
I really hate to open up the can of worms with adding instructions to the readme file for tips on integrating other 3rd party plugins.
Thanks,
Anne

Sorry while I know that there are a LOT of folks who do not/refuse to read the readme or the forums before asking for help, I don't agree that the number of people who DO read these instructions is low at all.. In fact I know that once the readme for Image Handler was refactored, it reduced the number of support questions by nearly 80-90%.. It's not opening up a can of worms at all if handled properly IMHO.. You might want to take a look at how it was handled in the Image Handler readme.. It took NO TIME to add what amounted to a very simple integration instruction..
You can handle this anyway you like.. it was simply a suggestion.. I know from 1st hand experience that adding these additional instructions to the Image Handler readme practically eliminated the lightbox questions..
