Can you direct me to a list of any other patches for the Responsive Sheffield Blue theme?
I absolutely love this theme and by looking at the number of hits, it looks as though I'm not alone. As soon as I get it and SSL up and running I will buy it but till then I want it to work as described. Please tell me where to download the patches or find the solutions for all glitches and If it is not possible, can I have the criteria for a proper keyword search for the answers?
If you can let me know what your laptop screen resolution is, I can help you trouble shoot. I just looked on a laptop with a 1024 pixel resolution and did not see the problem.
You would have to add to the responsive.css file and add a fix to the appropriate media query.
There is no need to purchase this template. I have released it as a free package.
Thanks,
Anne

When looking at them, there was a subtle difference it seemed my production server view was "bigger". I held my ctrl-key (windows pc) zoomed out one "notch" and alas, all was good in the world.
Before doing that I had also tried to close the browser and reopen it, but the result was the same. I had tried clearing cookies and the cache, same thing. I was frantic because it "just started happening". Now that doesn't fix the "fresh" install part, but maybe it helps someone.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So please someone explain what is going on.
I have viewed this issue on 2 Different Desktops and 1 laptop. I have switched between 7 different Screen resolutions.
I was at my wits end. Till this post......
Zooming out 1 click fixed the issue on my PC......( and all other laptop ect......)
So......is this going to be an issue in the wild??
Would love to keep using this template, and now I might any way :)

Unfortunately, I leave that up to the ones that understand css and graphic display better than I do. I do believe though, if you answer the question of screen resolution, it may help them a little more. (That way they canprovide a possible "cutoff" for when different actions take place.

Well the answer to that would be ALL- or any resolution any of my systems can run at....whether it be 800x600 or 1920x1080
The issue is somehow related to "Zoom"(Ctrl+Mousewheel") not resolution.
But it its definitely only on my site, the demo adjusts flawlessly of course :)
But mine breaks when you zoom out to far in Firefox.......

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Hello! I've messed around quite a bit finally got stuff looking somewhat how I want it. Something i'm having a bit of trouble with is the responsive css in the center featured product
The featured products is pretty much what i'm utilizing directly in the middle of the template, i've stripped everything else out. The problem i'm having is keeping the site looking good when its re-sized compared to when its full HD on a nice screen.
Removing the css for "auto left/right" and placing in the static number which makes the template look correct on my monitor but when i resize the window, or check on my phone it causes horizontal scrolling. So my quandary is centering this featured products somehow without having to put in static margin left css. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to do this?

You can check out what i'm working with over here.
Thanks for your help everyone!

If you do a google search you will find that margin:0 auto; will center a div. You would have to assign a width value to the div and containing element in a percentage.
Thanks,

Thanks! I completely forgot most layout changes are controlled by the admin.
BTW! What can I do if I want to modify the way the brands are displayed?
I would like to use a 6 column layout, to display the brands, but my attempts have failed. I did change the class but the column is not displaying the labels properly. Therefore my question is do I have to modify the listing(script that generates the listing I mean) or, do I have to manually input each line, as a define using other column classes as an example?

This is not a problem with the Responsive Sheffield Blue package. There is a patch posted to the older Sheffield Blue template support thread to fix this. Also, the problem is fixed in the newest version of the Sheffield Blue package.
Thanks,
Anne

You can modify the tpl_mega_menu.php and stylesheet_mega_menu.css files. If you read through the Pure CSS Mega Menu support thread or do a forum search I believe that this question has already been answered in detail.

Hi
Thank you for your response a few days ago regarding image size on the index page. All seems to now be a uniform size at the moment
One question which has probably been asked before, but scanning the thread I cant quickly find.
How do you add an image as a backround in the header.
Many thanks

You will use css to do this. If you post a link to your site and a screen shot of what you are trying to do I can let you know what element to put the background image on. Or, you can install firebug and use firefox to figure this out.
Thanks,

I am sorry, take a look in includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_header.php for this:
Code:
<?php
if ($this_is_home_page) {
?>
<?php
if (RSB_SLIDES_STATUS == 'true') {
?>
<?php require($template->get_template_dir('tpl_home_slider.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'common')
. '/tpl_home_slider.php');?>
<?php
} ?>
<?php
} ?>
You will remove it from that file and add it to the includes/languages/english/html_includes/responsive_sheffield_blue/define_main_page.php
Thanks,
Anne

Hi Anne
Yes Ive changed the logo tag line.
What I am trying to do is to place an image/or color as a background for the whole header.
Hope this makes sense.
Many thanks

Most likely you will want to put it on the #headerWrapper

Hi Anne
Did that, however I seem to have something wrong. So used to doing this sort of thing in Oscommerce.
Image
#headerWrapper{background: url("images/bg_content.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0;}
#contentMainWrapper, #logoWrapper, #cartBoxListWrapper, #ezPageBoxList, #cartBoxListWrapper ul, #ezPageBoxList ul, #mainWrapper, #pop
Have also loaded image to /includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/images
and also tried
#headerWrapper{background: url("/includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/images/bg_content.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0;}
#contentMainWrapper, #logoWrapper, #cartBoxListWrapper, #ezPageBoxList, #cartBoxListWrapper ul, #ezPageBoxList ul, #mainWrapper, #pop
Any thoughts.
Many thanks

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
I made some override customizations for a client's product_info page, placing those customizations in the /includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/product_info/extra_main_template_vars directory. My client then reported that the following items were missing, but only on the product_info page:
- The shopping cart icon was missing in the header
- The payment icon was missing from the footer
- The social icons were missing from the left-side screen display
- The back-to-top icon was missing
The issue is that this template's overrides make calls to the $template->get_template_dir function with the first parameter (the filename) set to an empty string ('') for those missing items. Since the product_info directory exists as part of the template's directory structure, that function finds the directory present and returns that directory so that, for instance, instead of attempting to load /includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/images/cart.png, the template atempts to load /includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/product_info//cart.png.
Following are the changes required to correct this behavior:
/includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_footer.php, line 45
Code:
<img src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(FOOTER_PAYMENT_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.FOOTER_PAYMENT_ICON; //-20140413-lat9-add FOOTER_PAYMENT_ICON as 1st parameter ?>" alt="payments we accept" class="payments-image" />
/includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_header.php, line 93
Code:
<li><img src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(HEADER_ICON_CART,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.HEADER_ICON_CART; //-20140413-lat9-add HEADER_ICON_CART as 1st parameter ?>" alt="cart icon" class="cart-icon" /><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART, '', 'NONSSL'); ?>"><?php echo $_SESSION['cart']->count_contents();?> <?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CART_ITEMS; ?> - <?php echo $currencies->format($_SESSION['cart']->show_total());?></a> | </li>
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL'); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CHECKOUT; ?></a></li>
/includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_main_page.php, lines 52, 58 and 80
Code:
<script src="<?php echo $template->get_template_dir('jquery.sidebar.js',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'jscript') . '/jquery.sidebar.js'; //-20140413-lat9-add jquery.sidebar.js as 1st parameter ?>" type="text/javascript"></script>
Code:
html: "<a href='<?php echo FACEBOOK; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo FACEBOOK_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(FACEBOOK_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.FACEBOOK_ICON ?>' class='soico facebook-sh' alt='<?php echo FACEBOOK_ALT; ?>' /></a><a href='<?php echo TWITTER; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo TWITTER_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(TWITTER_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.TWITTER_ICON ?>' class='soico twitter-sh' alt='<?php echo TWITTER_ALT; ?>' /></a><a href='<?php echo YOUTUBE; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo YOUTUBE_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(YOUTUBE_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.YOUTUBE_ICON ?>' class='soico youtube-sh' alt='<?php echo YOUTUBE_ALT; ?>' /></a><a href='<?php echo PINTEREST; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo PINTEREST_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(PINTEREST_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.PINTEREST_ICON ?>' class='soico pinterest-sh' alt='<?php echo PINTEREST_ALT; ?>' /></a><a href='<?php echo GOOGLE; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo GOOGLE_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(GOOGLE_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.GOOGLE_ICON ?>' class='soico google-sh' alt='<?php echo GOOGLE_ALT; ?>' /></a><a href='<?php echo BLOG; ?>' target='_blank' title='<?php echo BLOG_TITLE; ?>'><img src='<?php echo $template->get_template_dir(BLOG_ICON,DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images').'/'.BLOG_ICON ?>' class='soico blog-sh' alt='<?php echo BLOG_ALT; ?>!' /></a>", // can be anything; 20140413-la9-Add 1st parameters to *all* get_template_dir calls

This can be an issue with the template installation. Please note that zen cart is a third party application which we are not complete familiar with. Hence, I would recommend you to consult it with your developer. You can refer the installation instruction for the theme here --> http://ikare.com.sg/sheffield_blue_readme.html#ione

As I am a code idiot and newbies, I could not understand all this. Hope you could help me.

This is not a problem with the template package. It looks like you have not uploaded all of the files in the template package, or have not uploaded them to the correct directories.

Yes, this bug has been documented and I posted a patch to fix it earlier in this thread.
A search of the forum, thread, or reading through the thread will find the posts related to the bug.

Just edit the length in includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_main_page.php in the social sidebar js code.

The site is http://dezertdezinez.com/workspace My question is about the categories showing up above the Bar at the top shown in the picture below Attachment 14005
Any help would be great .. I have done a couple of css things to try to get rid of the words there yet nothing seems to help .. so am asking to see if I can do something different

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
I have 2 questions that I can't seem to figure out .
First. I would like to add another slide to the slide show so that there are 6. I have added the picture to the banner folder in the images and have added the info to the banners on the site yet can't get it to show. The 6th slide is in the group as the others are rsbslide1 2 3 4 5 as the others the 6th is rsbslide6 and is linked to the picture .. in the template settings there are only 5 ( under the file menu and Responsive Sheffield menu)
Second I would like to take off the drop down Contact us or Put a captcha on the short contact us . Is this possible ?
When I click on the contact us link it goes to the page as it's suppose to and has the captcha yet on the short version when hovering over the link there is no captcha .. I would like to fix this so we don't get so many bots trying to send ads
Thank you for any help you can give on both of these.

If not mistaken and picaflur-azur will correct me if I'm wrong, the first item is addressed in the readme file(s).
The second, there are a couple of things that can be done. Someone posted a while back in this thread a double method of verification to try to stop the bots that did not use a captcha. First method used a honeypot the second transfered the customer to a newly filled out contact us page and something special was on that page as well. I can't remember.
Regarding the use of a captcha on the drop down, there would need to be some recoding of the contact us page to mirror what is on the standard contact us page (observers and possibly add the honeypot for good measure). While the template is compatible with several versions of ZC, it is missing some minor attributes related to the latest ZC. But that is still relatively easy to amend.
The other thing about the captcha is that the size of it maay not be desireable and reducing the size ffects users ability to properly complete it.

To add another slide to this template you need to to add another banner group. Or you can just had code the additional code to the includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/common/tpl_home_slider.php file:
Code:
<a href="http://your link here" target="_blank"><img src="your image here" alt="your alt here" title="your title here" width="980" height="250" /></a>
Adding the slide this way is easier than adding a new banner group, but you will not be able to edit the banner via the banner manager.
If you do a forum search for your second question you will find a few different threads with various methods posted for dealing with the header contact us form.
Thanks,
Anne

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Just a quick question looking at this template for the first time.
Re "three column display" - will there be any problem or special work required to use this with left and right columns always turned off (i.e. Column Right / Left Status Global = 0) ?
Cheers

No, the template can be used as a one, two, or three column layout.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
I am not seeing the bottom blue bar that is located under the footer links. It does show for me in chrome and firefox but is not visable in Internet Explorer 8. I thought I might have messed something up however I checked the sheffield blue live demo and see the same issue. I realize no rounded corners on Internet Explorer 8 but this issue really messes up the look. Anyone run into this issue? Any solutions? I know IE 8 right? BUT it is still 2.7 % of all browsers used in the US which is still substantial. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Can subcategory images be shown in mobile mode in the same way as in desktop mode?
The following example refers:
On the demo site, minimise the page to mobile size. There are three steps required in order to see any images, and level 1, 2, or 3 sub category images are not seen directly. For example:
1. Click the menu bars which expand to show headings: Shopping Cart, Log In, Shop, Quick Links, .. etc.
2. Click Shop - which drops down to show more headings: Hardware, Software . . etc
3. Click Hardware - which drops to show more headings: CDROM Drives, Graphics Cards, .. etc
4. Click Graphics Card - which finally shows a product image.
So it takes 4 mouse clicks to see an image.
This sequence is different from steps 1 - 4 in desktop size, where pull down and click Shop / Hardware produces all the Hardware category images immediately.
Any input please?

Yes, you need to click through to the product listing pages to see the products listed. You can minimize clicks by having more organized categories/sub categories with less sub sub categories. If you have a lot of 3rd, 4th, 5th level subs then you can implement a different menu for the mobile side.
Thanks,
Anne

Thanks for the feedback Anne.
My new site has only 2 category-levels just like your demo site, with 1. categories (Hardware), 2. sub categories (Graphics Cards) and products. But even then there are still 4 clicks before seeing an image. (a customer must be quite persevering in order to get to even a 3rd or 4th level sub).
Do you not think the 4-click process on your demo site is a little too much for many folk and can you please give me a pointer towards implementing the different menu for the mobile side?
Thanks

The menu included in this template package is a standard mobile menu. If you are not happy with it, do a search on google and find other mobile menus that you can implement.

Yes, that is the code block that you would move to change the position of the additional images on the product info page. Are you sure that you have image handler installed correctly?

Yes. It was up and working perfectly on the All Business template. In fact I just swapped back to All Business and it still works. Then I went back to Resp. Sheffield Blue and they are gone.

Did you copy over the override files to the new template override directory for image handler?

Anyone know how to fix this? IE 8 looks pretty bad in the footer area as with out the blue bar the links are invisible...white on white.

If you see differences between browsers then you can use the cross browser jscript I have included in the template package to isolate browser styles. See includes/templates/override/jscript/css_browser_selector.js for instructions.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Hi,
I installed the template in 3 languages, it is a GREAT template, thank you Anne for creating this!
I have it all working fine except for 1 thing....when I click the SHEFFIELD BLUE in the Configuration dropdown (at the bottom) I don´t see any banners but also no options to turn it off or on. There only is the green menu bar with no options under it.
The banner is working fine on the page, just no access to it in the Admin. In the Banner Magager there are all banners visible but all twice.
How could I fix this so the admin will be working properly with the banners, it´s the easiest way to upload new banners and create links.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
And I cannot fix one other thing too...I cannot find in this thread..
With some of the ez-pages the right column moves down (under the center-part) when viewing it full-screen, mostly it happens with ez-pages which have pictures on it. Is there somewhere where I can make a change to prevent this from happening?
The pages themselves do not use large pictures or so which are wider then the page itself, only a few small pics.
I have all the values exactly as in the readme-file.
Help :)

Take a look in your database configuration_group table and find the group id assigned to the template.

I've got it loaded in a fresh 1.5.1 and it's looking great. However, I'm seeing a problem in both my localhost dev site and your live demo, both in chrome and IE:
I view product info page, no "details" or "description" show.
I am having the same problem. On the mobile view of my website, they go into the product and there is the word "DESCRIPTION" but in order to read the description you have to click or touch the word "DESCRIPTION". Can I just get the description to show when they look at the product? I verified that in the responsive.css on line 304 it does say .content1

If you do a search of this thread you will find a patch posted that fixes this bug.

Yes, I have already done that and the only thing I could find was the suggestion to change the responsive.css on line 304 from .content to .content1. (As stated in my first comment). If there is another fix you are referring to, I didn't find it. Can you be more specific? Thank you, I really appreciate your help.

There is a post in this thread where I attached a zip file with the patch. I do not know the post number--I would have to search the thread. If you search the thread you will find it.

Hello Anne, I found in #72 mentions changing the .content in responsive css to .content1 (mine is correct at .content1). The other thread I found was #113 that a patch for the header and then a comment for .content bug. When I uploaded the responsive.css from patch it really screwed up my mobile view so I re-uploaded the original that came with newest version of your template. I am only having this problem on the mobile view and the patch didn't fix it.
Just so I am clear in explaining my problem, in the Mobile View only, they click on a product and it will have the image (perfect) and next to it says the words "DESCRIPTION". Nothing else. The customer must click on the word "description" or they cannot add to cart or make any selections. I have searched this thread with keywords and tried going through each page and these are the only ones that come close to an answer. By the Way....I LOVE YOUR TEMPLATE. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work put into this template and I am just amazed at how wonderful it looks.

I thought I remembered seeing a post for this, but that aside, it all centers around the javascript code for displaying the product page. The default is to hide the description and require the customer to click (on the default down arrow) to see the description. If I remember correctly the java script invokes some css as well, so if changing the one may have to change the other. I opted to change the arrow default as it made more sense to me to have the arrow point to the right when hidden and point down when showing than it did to have no text with an arrow pointing down and to have the text with the arrow pointing to the right. It may just be me, but that seemed to make more sense (having the arrows in reverse from the default).

There isn't an arrow pointing that I can see on the mobile view. There is no instruction for the customer telling them that they have to click on the word "description" before they can place an order. I'm not sure what arrows you are referring to :blink:

Well, I'm on a mobile device andunable to do an inspection of your site to validate/deny the existence of the arrows, but at the moment if they are there, they are hidden by the main picture; however, assuming I can post the screenshot of the site I use this template on, then one can see the triangle arrow just to the left of the word description. Better yet should be able to see the arrow on the demo site for this template.

And actually without the arrrow it WOULD be confusing to customers.

I have the template running locally only at the moment so I cannot post a link to the website. As I am not in the office I cannot check locally but I will check first thing tomorrow to see which group ID the configuration is assigned to.
I will post it here, I am also busy with a new hoster to get the website there (we are going to move the domain together with upgrade from 1.3.9h to 1.5.1) but we cannot get in installed at the moment as we get a blank page when we go to the zc_install folder (php 5.4), files installed on a IP adress, not a domain yet. If somebody has any suggestions, these will be welcome (sorry, also no link available yet, only starting tomorrow...)
As soon as that works I will post a link so you can see what I am struggling with.
Thanks for the help for now.

AWE...I can't see it on my phone so that must be it. My screen must be too small. OKAY, thanks. But I still would very much like to have the description just pull up because they cannot see the attributes or the add to cart button. It is very confusing, so I hope that someone has figured out a way for that to just pull up without the customer having to hit "description" so they can easily see what it is and place an order. I would hate to loose out on sales because they don't know what to do, ya know?

After reviewing your site a little, I now understand the problem. Somehow/for some reason, everything associated with the purchase of a product has been placed within the start and end of the description. This is not how the default template is setup (unless I have made some gross modifications myself). I thought the default placed the attributes, the purchase button, etc. Outside of the description box and that it could be relocated through code cut/paste in the sequence desired.
Besides that there appers to be easy things that are missing when looking at a product like the product's name. (One of the options available under the catalog/product type/edit layout option. Again, take a look at the sample provided by picaflor azul in the first post of this thread.

Delete all but one of the configuration id's. Then go to the admin_pages table and change the gID= for the template page to the configuration group.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Hello, I have a quick question about a problem I came across this morning. Its probably an easy fix but I can't seem to find the location of the code to fix the problem. Here is the test website I have been working on. www.testbaxterparts.host22.com
This morning, on the homepage, I noticed that the slideshow images were all off center from where they are supposed to be. I am sure it is an easy fix, but I can't seem to locate the section of code that has to do with the location of the Slides in the slideshow.
Can some shed some light on this for me?
Thanks,
Chris

If you resize your slides to 980 pixels wide by 250 pixels high they will be centered.

Thanks for your response, Anne! I really appreciate you taking your time to help me out with this minor problem. Also, you have done an amazing job with this template. I am pretty new to the Zen Cart World. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you have done!
I went ahead and pulled the slides from your zip file and pasted my photos on top of the slides so that it would give the slide the 980px x 250px. It still has the slides off-center after uploading them again. If you check the site out again, the slides are still all over to the left side of the slideshow. Do you think there is some other setting in a CSS file or something else that would cause the slides to be pushed over to the left?
This is really weird because the slides were fine yesterday. I am pretty sure that I didn't mess with any settings that had to do with the placement of the slides?
Any other information to look at would be great!
Thanks again for your help!

I am so happy that you are finding the template useful and using it for your web site ;)
You should change line 4 of the responsive.css to max-width:100%;
Thanks,
Anne

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Thanks for this template. I love it!. I've been exploring the demo for a while and I've also noticed the moving search box issue. It moves to the middle of the header menu after logging in. I've tried the demo on 2 desktops and 2 laptops and it happens every time I log in. If I re-size the window a bit, it goes back to normal. I realize this has been talked about, but I have a couple questions. Why does this only occur after logging in? If adding more breakpoints to responsive.css will fix this, will someone please tell me how to do that? Thanks.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Something else I noticed is that this problem only occurs when there is a product in the shopping cart. If I remove the item from the cart, I can log in and out as much as I want and the search box is fine.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
I got the template up & running (is still in maintenance mode) and I am playing with various devices, works great on the Iphone as it takes the responsive mode. If I use a galaxy tab 3 in landscape mode it shows full website, if I make it portrait size the search box moves to the middle and messes up the layout. Next to that the center column drops under the left column. The same happens (i tested with firefox) on a desktop when you start making the window smaller.
I have seen more posts like these but I didn't find a real solution to this in all 68 pages...or did I overlook?
You can see the website www.magicdownloads.nl/shop to see what I mean, just make it smaller and you will see...
All the other fixes I have found on the forum which is of a great help to me!
EDIT : P.S. -after posting I see that more people have asked for almost the same thing (except for the columns it seems) right above my post. I will not delete as it is a little different :)

This is one of the main reasons why I have switched to the new DIY responsive template default code which uses a php detect script to detect user agent to serve the correct layout. This template is in the queue to be updated.
Thanks,
Anne

Anne,
Is it easy to edit in a "live shop" when the shop is already live or is it as complete new package?
I also noticed the following (it's magic :). If I click NEW ITEMS the products are displayed in columns (what is should be), but sometimes (when I click ALL PRODUCTS in the header or in categories) it changes to rows and then all is in rows except when I click a CATEGORY then it changes to columns again....
Any idea?

It will be a completely new package.
If you post a link to your site I can take a look.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Good Morning,
I have two question that have to do with my site being viewed in mobile view. The site is : www.testbaxterparts.host22.com.
1st: When on the homepage in mobile view, if you click the link in the middle of the page for "NEW", it displays "New products for month of May". The formatting of these products is all over the place (the price and add to cart button are on the right side of the box and towards the bottom and there is no description for the part being viewed). I would like to either figure out a way to make the "New Product of the month" look a little better or just disable it from being viewed in Mobile view. (It looks fine in full mode). I've played around with the responsive.css file for this section but can't get the add to cart and price to move to a place that looks halfway decent. Also, I really need it to display the description. So, whatever is easiest to do, I will go with. If its easier to disable the whole section on the homepage, that is fine with me.
2nd: (This question has to do with both Mobile and Regular view of the webpage) Bring up any product in mobile view that is available for sale. Underneath the add to cart button, There is a drop down box for Details and Description. I want to disable the details section. My customers don't need to see the Quantity of products that we have in stock. I would also like to figure out how to disable this section in the regular view of the website as well.
Hopefully these two issues aren't anything too terribly difficult to fix.
I appreciate anyone who has some suggestions on making this work a little better!
Thanks in advance!
Chris

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
Anne,
You can see the website www.magicdownloads.nl/shop to see what I mean :)
Also, I removed two of the social logo's from the social bar but the "block" doesn't become shorter. If I see other websites with the same template (the one mentioned above) the block also is shorter which is nicer I think :)

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
The product descriptions and product details are closed by default, but how can I make them open by default?
I have installed the latest version as well as the patch.
Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with the javascript coding, but you will be editing the js at the top of the includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php file.
Thanks,

1. If you don't like the default layout for the home page new products you can change it or display:none; it for mobile devices by editing the includes/templates/responsive_sheffield_blue/css/responsive.css file.
2. You can disable any of the product details in admin--catalog--product types--product-general--edit layout
Thanks,
Anne

I am viewing the demo using chrome and can not recreate this problem.

Re: Responsive Sheffield Blue
By setting the stylesheet.css for #navMainWrapper {margin:-105px 20px; width:50%;} seems to solve it. I don't know why Anne doesn't see this but it does happen.

This works for me also, but I had to change to to #navMainWrapper {margin:-105px 20px;width:50%;color:#444;float:right;}
Works perfectly now!

Thanks for your response, Anne.
I was able to disable the product details and that is displaying correctly now. I still have a quick question about your response regarding the other issue I was having. I just cant seem to find the correct area in the responsive.css file to be able to disable the bar that displays "New" and "Specials" in mobile view. Can you point me in the right direction? I would be fine with just using the {display:none;} on that whole box in mobile view.
Here is the site just in case. www.testbaxterparts.host22.com
Thanks again for your time,
Chris
