I dont think the attribute images and hover have anything to do with IH3. In the images section under Admin there are some hover settings....maybe it has to do with that section?
The only hover settings I have in Admin>>Images are the IH3 settings. This is why I wondered if you were using an addon, because that function (attribute images zooming on hover) is not native to Zen Cart. Before you can figure out how to add watermarks to attribute images that zoom on hover...you have to first figure out what you are doing/using to make attribute images hover on zoom in the first place....and then get help editing that code to add watermarks.
Since this is not IH3 support related...you'll need to browse the other areas of the support forum to see if anyone can advise you.
Good luck and happy Zenning :smile:

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you confused me! :blink: LOL! I had someone else set up the majority of my website and now I just do my best to maintain it and add my products. I do have hover on all of my images and because IH3 has that option in Admin I just assumed it was IH3 but I guess it is not. I have checked all the pull down menus in Admin to see if there is another mod that would be allowing me to hover the images but can't seem to find anything.

Sorry :smile: Download the Attribute Pop Up mod and the Attributes Rollovers mod and take a look at their files.
Then look to see if you have any of those mod files on your server. If you do...then that's the mod you have installed...and that's the support forum where you can try to get help with your issue. There is a support thread for the Attributes Rollovers mod, but I haven't seen one for the Attributes Pop-Up mod.
Good luck and happy Zenning :smile:

I'm using character set ISO-8859-7 (Greek) and accidentally found that there were about 25000 error logs in my cache folder created within less than 10 days from installing IH3. Your reply prompted me to risk and try in a test environment and it worked with two small variations. I replaced line 690 from:
Code:
$alt = addslashes(htmlentities($alt, ENT_COMPAT, CHARSET));
to
Code:
$alt = addslashes(str_replace('"','\'',$alt));
after I restored the missing semi-colon at the end and replaced the empty string with a single quote. So, alt tags with double quotes became alt tags with single quotes and the logs are not produced any more. For some reason, the script also changes the title tag.
Many, many, many thanks for your idea and wishes for a nice Christmas and a happy New Year.
Thank you guys for this great thread. I easilly spoted the trouble with the Greek characters and fixed it easilly.
Have a nice and happy new year!!! :P
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
Glad it worked for you Infogate. :D
I will give you a call in the next few days with regard to laptop repairs.
Happy new year to all Zen fellows. Καλή χρονιά!
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
When the cached images are created is there a way to have it preserve the original file names rather than the randomly generated ones?
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
Hi once again,
my question is also involved with other module called Compare Multiple Products. As i am using image handler 3, it creates lowest resolution for compare product images. the pixels are as low as 35x35 so when i add a product to compare list, the image in compare box looks horrible.
here is a file name :
61626dce84e7873faa6ef8f522713fc0.image.35x35.jpg
This might not sound like related to image handler but it is somehow.
the author of the compare module included a product_list.php file just in case of image handler, but it also does not work.
Any idea would be great. Thanks

As you are using a commercial template from Template Monster (ALWAYS A BAD IDEA), then you will need to ask for help from Template Monster.
The forum is here for issues with Zencart core code, and for add-ons that meet core specifications. TM templates do not (in general) meet these requirements, and people don't have hours (or days) of time to give away for free, to unpick Template Monster stuff.
Best thing is to dump the TM template and use a template that behaves like ZC intended.
Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread
thank you for your reply. OK I will find the help on other place but anyway thank you. ups. . upss I was wrong, I have purchased the template at http://############################################
