This is a character encoding issue. You likely loaded your data from a iso-8859-1 source, but failed to let Open Office know before exporting and selecting UTF-8. This is hard to fix once it's messed up.
At this point you're better off doing a search and replace in your data. Also, depending of the source encoding, some single quote representations can potentially break EP4's import. Char(092) is a funky one.
Also, converting "smart" quotes between character encoding can also cause problems. Open Office CAN do it correctly for you, but you must let it know the source data's encoding when you first open the csv.
Excel will not give you this option and will totally FUBAR you data ...

Chadd - Yes, Pull the image from the remote location. There are images both uploaded to images as well the URL of the client's manufacturer...it's a pain! =) Thank you in advance!

One can not have it both ways
Best to grab images and host on your account

Not quite sure what you mean, The model number was the same as uploaded product,
I added the example attributes,
v_products_model v_products_options_type v_products_options_name_1 v_products_options_values_name_1
And i always get the same results, Been at it all day, changing bits and get the same resultsAttachment 11406
Re: EasyPopulate 4.0 Support Thread
sash,
Try exporting your products
Open resulting file and locate product and add attributes to it

Re: EasyPopulate 4.0 Support Thread
The attributes are a pain in the ########, Some have three main Attribute categorys , Different sizes within them and then whatever combination chosen has a price to match, UUGhh !!
I went back to the basic last night and tried uploading attributes than i already had manually input into admin, and it still came up blank ??
Do you mean this file as the others don't have as much attribute info Attachment 11415

Would there be any advantage to the good Zen Cart folks offering a UTF-8-encoded version? I work either in TextMate or inside vi. The default ISO encoding makes diff take longer whenever I upgrade. It wouldn't take all that long to convert all the files to UTF-8 but is it worth the effort?
Re: EasyPopulate 4.0 Support Thread
Ok, I am sure that this may already be posted here but I don't feel like scanning through all 71 pages of the EP help forum. Anyways I am trying to upload some inventory and when I do I get the error messages "No Model Field In Record. This line was not imported" What does that mean. I have on my cvs a place for v_products_model. I also did a different upload that I saved earlier with the same data and it uploaded fine but it did not upload any prices eventhough there are clearly prices that I placed under v_products_price. What is my problem and how do I fix the problem. I worked for about a month getting the files ready to upload and now this.
Thanks
Mark
