All Business template Support Thread

I have a question about the slide show in the main page.

By default setup, if I click the number, the slide will roll back to the one I clicked.

I want to change it to like this: when I place the cursor on the number, the corresponding slide shows up at once.

I am not a javascript expert, but I believe that you will need to edit this behavior in the javascript file.

i have this theme and removed a page define_page_4 from the information side box 9not sure how now) and i want to put it back
Can someone please tell me how to add it back so it appears in the side box /

Hi,

I've been on ZC 1.39g and your template (not sure which version) for a while. I'd like to install ZC 1.5 onto a test directory and with your latest version of the template. I've installed a few ZCs before, but now I'd like to double-check what to do next...

- Create a new "test" database and import everything from the current one?

- Install ZC 1.5 into the test directory and connect it to the "test" DB? (If yes, I know the details how to do so.)

- Then how exactly do I install your newer template with the custom changes I made to some files on the older version? I've seen your installation instructions, the issue is about the upgrading.

Anything else, please enlighten me.

Well, the main question is about upgrading your template. The instructions don't mention that. I upgraded a ZC before, but it was with minor adjustments to the standard template. I already read ZC's upgrade instructions and still have concerns because the older version I have of your template contains numerous adjustments.

ZC says to compare files with a program like WinMerge and I did and notice dozens of differences with the template files. That's on top of more differences with ZC files. So that's really the process, go over your files one by one and make the changes?

Jeez, that's a hassle...and then upgrade every 6 months or so...makes me think BigCommerce is worth it.

I've been using NopCommerce for a while now and am currently building up for a switch over to ZC and themes are so not my strong point LOL

I found your theme after trying to install some of the "generic" one's I found from ZC's site and let me tell you I'm in love!

Install, set up, finishing the theme took me under 10 minutes with your detailed instructions and for that I owe you a drink! =)

Hi,

How do I format the Featured items so that everything below the Product Name is evenly aligned?

My site is avenue-r.com and you'll see three Featured items at the bottom of the homepage. Some Product Names in this grid take up three lines and some four, and that affects the picture, price and 'details' button below each.

I'd like to force a line-break so that a Product Name that is three lines long will have the picture and rest below the Name appear as if the Name has four lines.
