Hello... Unsure if it something i have done, but the template in IE8 doeant seem to be loading correctly, looks fine in firefox.. basically what i am seeing in IE is the links in the header are in the pale colour box where the logo is and the free shipping text, but in firefox the links are in the black bar at the top of the page. take a look at my site http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test also in IE the slide is not working but is fine in firefox..... Thanks Ben
Quick update, after a fresh install on a clean 1.5.1 download i still experienced the same issue, however i tracked it down to turning on languages_header.php and currencies_header.php in the layout boxes section. Ive messed around with different sort orders but no matter what i did it put the mentioned two links on the right side of the top black bar forcing the home/log in/shopping cart links to drop one line in internet explorer only, firebox displayed fine. Also in my new download which can be seen here http://bodykitsonline.co.uk/subaru/ i can still not get the slide images to work. and another thing to add is that im on IE9 not 8 like i originally thought.
thanks
Have another question, quick fix this time i think. I'm trying to center align the specials price on my index page but not sure where to do this.
These sorts of changes will be made in the stylesheet.css file. If you want to make changes like this, I would strongly recommend using firefox and the web developer tools or firebug, which will help you to figure out which line of the file to edit.
The specials prices are already center aligned.
Thanks,
Anne
I'm going through upgrading from 1.3.9h to 1.5.1 and installing the Abbington Mega Template. I had run through the process on a fresh install of 1.5.1 in a test environment without any issues. However, with the upgrade to the live site I'm experiencing a couple of issues. My guess is it is related to the SQL code that is run. The site is http://www.scubastevesmarine.com.
This issues are in the Admin with two items (that I have noticed).
1. In the CONFIGURATION MENU there is no ABBINGTON MEGA menu item for configuration settings.
2. In the TOOLS > BANNER MANGER the new entries for the footer and slideshow images are not there.
3. Lastly the EZ-Pages that were setup previously are not showing in the dropdown or the footer.
I did install the SQL Patch through the Admin TOOLS and it didn't show any errors.
What additional information is needed to assist?
I think this is it but I could be missing something.
Well I figured out what I did wrong. Installed the wrong version. Ugh.
I do have another question though related to EZ-Pages, something I didn't test much on my test site.
1. in the footer I would like to expand the section between the lines to account for my ez-pages that are running down into the social media links.
2. The ez-pages (with exception of the Navigators Choice link) all have Chapters, however, when you go to the Ez-Page none of the chapters are displaying. Is there a setting for this I'm missing? How do I fix this?
Let me answer my own question #2: There is apparently a bug in the tpl_page_default.php and header_php.php files in v1.5.1 there is a code re-write on Github the link is below:
https://github.com/zencart/zencart/c...e1f6d3b9cf2f85
I have not been able to figure out how to expand the footer for "ez-pages"/"useful links" so the links don't spill into the social media icon area of the footer. It would be nice if it were self adjusting like the information tab of the header. Can anyone help with this?
thanks.
