I am not going to engage in counter-productive posts. Perhaps, you can spend the time to deliver what you said you will when you requested contribution to finish this project. Or were we foolish enough to contribute to a BETA project that is NOT WORTHY of production environment?

The funding was for 10-15 working hours to help complete the version. Initial completion is done with first public release, beta or otherwise. Naturally there are going to be bugs to work out.
How much time do you think I've put into bringing 3.0 closer to production so far?? Well over the 10-15 hours that a group funded (for which I am eternally grateful). So don't keep brining up this "we paid you" BS like I'm somehow still in debt to you.
Well, you're the one that estimated you only needed 10-15 hours and $500 to complete the project. Please take your own advise. If you're foolish enough to make the wrong estimation don't blame anyone but yourself.

I am not attacking you or saying you're indebted to me or anyone else. In fact I was one of your strongest defended when everyone was giving you crap on this forum about this mod.
The point is if you're going to say I am foolish to use something that you call public release (which is of no use production-wise), then what exactly have you released.
I guess maybe in the future you can say you need people to help you funding releasing a beta version and testing in for you, then there will be no unreasonable expectation.
You're right that this project would have cost $1,000s of dollars and we are all greatful for your contributions to this community. You're probably in the top 5 contributors on this forum whose code is extremely clean and someone who takes a great pride in the quality of their work.
We appreciate your work and contribution but that doesn't warrant being rude...when you start to use words like foolish, incompetent, that takes it to a different level.
If my host are incompetent because there is problem with installation/configuration with mod_rewrite, does that mean every developers that have contributed on this forum and have a bug in their contribution are incompetent? Absolutely not! Don't be so quick to judge others lest you will be judge.

An estimation is just that, a rough guess, not an actual or exact figure.
I'm through playing these silly mind game with you. For example, I love how you claim to be experiencing so many problems with the version 3 Beta, yet you have not reported a single one to the bug tracker. hmm... a bit odd.
If you really are having problems that you think may be bugs, then report them appropriately instead of coming into the community support thread and waiving your arms around wildly.
Re: Chemo's Ultimate URL's
Hey folks, this seems to be getting out of hand.
It really is not my place to say this, so appologies for butting in, just felt I needed to.
It is so difficult not to fall out over messaging, there is loads of indicators missing compared with speech, please do not forget this.
I am sure both sides feel frustrations, and have valuable points. Arguements in public are messy, can you keep it private please?

Come on folks lets calm down, take a step back from your keyboards, take a deep breath, inhale exhale, stand up go outside and enjoy some fresh air. No need to take things personally. We are a community of like minded people working together to improve our quality of life via e commerce. Anything that is worth doing takes time. I think that Dreamscape has done great work in the past, so give him time and he will have the project up and running. I also understand that BlessIsaacola and other members have paid for the new seo url mod, but you guys also have to realize that programming is not an exact science and that launch dates are not written in stone. You guys are kind of like kids waiting to open their presents on
Christmas eve, as much as you would like to rip open the rapping and play with your new presents you are just going to have to wait till Christmas day.

Good I am done playing the silly mind games with you as well. I will let you enjoy your self gratification. Your arrogancy is well noted as demonstrated even in your comments towards the Zen Cart team in fixing this bug: http://bugs.smarterwebdev.com/view_bug.php?bug_id=19 Obviously, you couldn't just provide the bug fix without taking a jab at the Zen Cart team. I guess you know it all! Now let see if you can stop waiving your fingers around wildly.

Apparent my item was added to cart but there was no way for me to know until I click view cart (which is okay just not customer friendly if there is no other visual aid).
Thanks :) I'll be taking this over to review now.
But, before I do; I am curious about the shopping cart. I see it at the top of the right-column, with or without the SEO patch, on both browsers. I know the top menu is not centered on IE, but after much tweaking thats the best we can come up with.
My current SEO problem is that when I go to check out I am redirected to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr which is fine, except the session breaks, so they are simply dumped to the paypal login with no order details :(
This sounds familiar so I am scouring this threads history, but if you have any suggestions...
thanks :)
