OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Hi - great mod.

I have 2 questions regarding refunds:

1. is there a way to put the refund amount in the auto comments sent to the user?

2. When I process a refund, I have Super Orders set my order status to "Refunded" - at this point my "Balance Due" goes from 0.00 back to the initial order value. I want balance due to be 0.00 at this point. What am I doing wrong?

My instinct is to use the "Cancelled" button which I would think would set "Balance Due" to zero, but it doesn't seem to do anything other than set the order status to my pre-defined status.

We are experiencing something similar to what several people have mentioned about the Amount Applied and Balance Due. This was working correctly before we updated to the latest version of Zen Cart (1.3.7.1).

Now, when a customer orders and pays it shows the Amount Applied as 0 and the full amount as the Balance Due (both for credit card and PayPal customers). This goes out on invoices and really can be a problem. We did upgrade also to the most recent release of Super Orders hoping that would fix it, but the problem remains.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I have recently installed the module and am experiencing one problem.

When we click "Notify Client", we get a red X instead of the green check. However, we can send emails through zen-cart.

*But when I do the batch notify, it updates to a green check. I'm confused...

I have searched for several hours online and have gone through the source code. Any ideas?

A member here has resolved this issue. I don't quite remember where it was posted but search for it, its there.

I just installed this and I'm still "playing" with it. Does it allow you to add items to an order from the admin side? If not...does anyone know of anything that will?

You'll have to use Edit Orders from the downloads section, I think it's in the admin tools section.

I have just found an 'unexpected product feature' and just wondering if there is a fix?

I offer layby on my site so when applying part payments I tick the notify customer box but not the Update order status with pre-set status & comments box (because I want to leave the status as layby because it is not fully paid).

A payment email is generated however the body of the email is the previous comment on the order. Is it at all possible to leave the message body blank or have a default of 'part payment received'?

Also wondering (happy to pay for this if need be) is it at all possible to show payments and balance owing on the 'my account' screen when the customer logs in to view their orders?

I have a client who wants to be able to change the drop-down status list to read Shipped [3] rather than Delivered [3]. I have been searching for the right file to modify, but I haven't had any luck yet. Would some kind person please post the right file path?

In the Admin area go to:
Localization ---> Orders Status

to change the name of an order status or to set it as default order status, choose the order status and then click on edit

Take a look in the admin....

Admin -> Localization -> Orders Status

You should be able to change it there.
