I've a new issue:
Quote:
1 partially deleted product(s) found! Delete this dross to prevent unwanted zencart behaviour by clicking here.
You are seeing this because there are references in tables to a product that no longer exists, which is usually caused by an incomplete product deletion. This can cause Zen Cart to misbehave in certain circumstances.
????
and then it gets a second message:
Quote:
Warning Deleting of product data debris failed! Please see the debug log in your uploads directory for further information.
Where is the debug log in uploads directory?
and then onto another.
I am busy with attributes, and there are a couple of fields that are not downloading when I create a temp file on the server.
- I would prefer to work with the price factor field as this is a percentage, and will involve less editing, if and when there are price changes. Currently it sees the price value field which I do not use as it involves a "rise per size" pricing structure - and this requires individual pricing entries per attribute as opposed to copy/pasting a percentage in the price factor field. Lots less work.
- Sort order - I set my sort order in admin-> attributes controller, but this field does not download
Should I edit this in the database? or is that too dangerous for a motor mechanic?:D
Otherwise EP is helping a great deal - thanx
Patrick
Re: Easy Populate support
sorry for not being available the last few weeks. A little 4.5kg boy is keeping me busy
I'll address any unanswered questions in turn. regarding the dross not being dleted, this is a bug. Ignore the error message for now. You can, if you wish, remove the offending table names the function checks in /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/easypopulate.php:
Code:
TABLE_CUSTOMERS_BASKET,
TABLE_CUSTOMERS_BASKET_ATTRIBUTES
I am working very hard to release the 1st advanced version in the next 2 weeks, and will at that time apply the bugfixes to the free version for all to enjoy.
Re: Easy Populate support
The dross is gone. thank you
and congratulations - I hope that this guy doesn't end up playing for the Wallabies against the Springboks - sheesh:thumbsup: , that's huge

Yeah... it's been driving me nuts!
Try it again now - I'm fairly confident I've fixed it. If you have problems, try saving 1st before opening it, and if this fails try it with Firefox (which definately works).

Regarding admin logins, I was never able to reproduce this error.

Can this be done through Easy popluate or am I in for some long nights or data entry?

Steve, sounds like you are the guy to consult when I redo the attributes. Please pm me when you get the chance and I'll shoot you an email. I have some ideas, but would like to get your input. Thanks.
Re: Easy Populate support
